EXCEPTIONAL
We spent a truly wonderful three weeks at Villa Salentina in Puglia. Christophe was a very helpful host, responding promptly to our small number of queries. The housekeeper was very responsive when we needed to ask her a couple of practical questions. The man who maintained the swimming pool did an outstanding job, coming several times a week and spending time ensuring that the pool was spotlessly clean and in excellent working order. The villa was precisely as described in the listing. The photographs in the listing did not quite manage to illustrate fully just what a truly special place it is.
We had days lounging in the villa and in the pool, only going out for breakfast at Rosso e Nero or going out for late evening gelati at Dolce Arte, both in nearby Cutrofiano. We had days travelling about Salento, and even as far away as Valle D’Itria.
We had superb gelati wherever we went. We were treated with great friendliness and kindness everywhere.
If you want a little piece of paradise on earth, look no further than Villa Salentina.
