We envite you to enjoy your own private oasis by the beach. Cozy Studio with ideal location, quiet residential neighborhood. Beach and surfing just 2 1/2 blocks away. Restaurants, Bars, Coffee Shops, within walking distance. Full kitchen. Private entrance and lovely fenced patio area in back, surrounded by bamboo, jasmine and honeysuckle. Biking distance to downtown LaJolla and Mission Bay. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is no extra pet fee. Parking for 2 cars in driveway under canopy. Everything you need to enjoy the beach life provided; two bikes, beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards. Chips, Salsa and ingredients for 2 welcome margaritas in your room on arrival.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Host is very kind and very responsive. It is a cute and cozy boho for a couple. Reserved covered parking for 1 car which is important as there are many homes with street parking only. Close to the beach and restaurants in walking distance. Couldn’t be happier.

The location was in proximity to everything we wanted to do. The beach was 2 blocks straight down the street. The host was very pleasant. We would recommend staying here. Overall wonderful experience!

lovely beach studio

such a cute place to stay in a perfect spot on the beach, everything we needed was within walking distance. hosts were super accommodating when we needed to stay an extra night due to our travel plans changing due to the wildfires in LA. would definitely stay again.

Great Place!

This was perfect for 2 people to stay for a small vacation. It’s very close to the beach and restaurants! And we loved the bikes to ride around town and on the path right by the beach!

Perfect but small

This is a fantastic location and you can park a car on property on a busy street! It was quiet and had a great amount of amenities! I would say perfect for solo guest or just a couple . You can’t entertain. No table to really eat a meal except coffee table near tv! It worked for me!!

Beach Studio

Very close beach studio. Owners communication was great. This is nice cozy studio. Having a parking spot was excellent. I wish there was a way for the bed to have access from both sides. My wife had to crawl over me if she wanted to get up. The only negative was the chimes next door that kept me up banging with the wind all night long.

Great Spot

Had a great stay at the Tourmaline Beach Studio. It's a perfect spot in a great part of town, close to the beach and local restaurants. The beach cruisers were a great perk as the boardwalk is only a few blocks away. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town. It's a great place for a single person or couple.

Awesome hospitality, walkable to the beac

Loved this stay and will bookmark it for future trips back to San Diego! Margaritas on arrival + chips and salsa. Walkable to the beach. Perfect spot for a couples home base for a weekend adventure.

Annual vacay

We vacation every year in San Diego. This is our second stay at the tourmaline beach studio and we loved it just as much this year as last. It is the perfect walking distance to Tourmo. Alisa is always great with making sure everything we need for our stay is available. We are already looking forward to our stay in 2025!

Weekend getaway

We stayed for two nights and loved the studio. We rode bikes to the beach multiple times and also walked, the location was perfect. The studio was quiet, clean and comfy and the margaritas and chips were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Lovely!

Wonderful studio close to the beach. Property has everything you need for a nice beach vacation. Close to the beach and some great restaurants. Hosts are fantastic and check in/out was a breeze. Will definitely be back!
