A cozy A-Frame cabin near Lynx Lake, set on an acre in the Prescott National Forest. The cabin is off the grid, and we operate on a water tank & solar. Lynx Creek runs through the property and its 1/8 of a mile back in the forest, yet only 15 minutes from downtown Prescott. Wonderful for those who love the outdoors and a quiet rustic getaway... yet close to town if you want more. There are only four cabins in the vicinity. They sit on 20 acres of Ponderosa Pine, Oak, Juniper and Arizona Aspen that are surrounded by the Prescott National Forest.

PEACEFUL! If I had to use one word, that would be it.Cute little cabin back in the woods with no distractions. We were looking for relaxation and solitude and we found it.It’s off the beaten path, so I recommend a truck or at least an all wheel drive vehicle. It’s close to everything. You can walk to Lynx Lake and Whiskey Row is a short drive. But we spent 90% of our time right there at the cabin.Sippin’ bourbon by the fire and drinking coffee while the sun came up.
We spent our Christmas week here and enjoyed every moment, it was so cozy sitting by the fireplace while playing boardgames and enjoying eachothers time while both our dogs just chilled with us. I proposed to my now fiance there and will definitely be back to make more memories. The owner Sona was super nice and very helpful, the comuncation was great when i had questions, once again thank you Sona!

Beautiful property, fully surrounded by the woods with other cabins a decent distance away for a safer feeling. Perfect place for if you have dogs and the surrounding area is very open. The host, Sona was very friendly and communicated everything regarding the trip perfectly. Would love to visit again in the future :)
My wife and I wanted a one night quick getaway and this was perfect. Off grid so you can really just be in the moment and yet still close to so many things to do. Cute place, secluded (there are few other cabins nearby but only a couple had people in them) and we were able to enjoy a nice evening fire as well as a morning fire too. We really enjoyed our stay and Sona the host is very communicative!
What a lovely host to make sure everything was set up for our family of five! The cabin was clean and cozy, great space to hang out together and explore the creek running through the property. We watched the deer come by in the morning as we had coffee. Such a great place to unplug and relax.
This was the perfect get away for our Anniversary! Off the grid so we can be in peace and quiet and close enough to the business district to go have some fun
Great overnight stay. Exactly what we were looking for - quiet, cozy, and relaxing.
If you're looking to get away from technology and log out this is the place. Bring board games, battery radio/music speakers, food and just chill.
(Cell service isn't ideal and be prepared).
This darling place was just what we needed to reset and rejuvenate. All of the little touches in this place add so much charm. We savored our time outside in the evenings, using the picnic table to eat our meals and sitting around the fire enjoying the peace and perfect temperatures. We hope to return soon!
We've stayed in a lot of different VRBO's in all kinds of different places. Rustic Serenity wins our vote for the overall best experience!! On top of most unique, quaint and comfortable!!! This is like camping at its absolute BEST!!! Our family of 4 had a WONDERFUL time at this place. You want to treat it as your own because it feels like your own! Sona, you are a GREAT host and we appreciate you and your cabin very much!! Looking forward to when we come back to visit again and again!!! Thank you, truly, for a GREAT time, would have loved to stay longer!!!
The boyfriend and I wanted to bring my dog and spend a weekend in Prescott to enjoy cooler temps and some time with friends in town. This cabin was a perfect spot for us to get quality nature time, but was also convenient enough for us to be able to meet friends in town as needed. Cabin was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed for an off-the-grid stay. Pics do not do it justice! Owner was super helpful and communicative. Top notch all around and def hope to return!
Our stay was magical. We loved every minute of it. To getting up early and hearing the birds and wind blow in the trees, to the nignt sky and sounds of the fire. We spent the days at lynx lake to cool down and relax. We took a couple trips down to whiskey row to on of our favorite bakeries. Every night we got a very special greeting from one of the sweetest dogs named sky a very friendly neighbors dog. We can't wait to book another stay. Absolutely perfect. No phones, no internet, no tv, just talking and enjoying eachothers company and making memories. We loved it so much. Sona gave perfect directions and was available if needed but overall we figured everything out easily, thanks to the step by step directions. Thank you so much. We will for sure be back again.
Delightful off grid cabin in the tall pines of Prescott. The cabin is small and quaint and adorably adorned. Very comfortable. No tv and internet but it’s deep in the woods and who needs that. The trip in was interesting. Part paved and part dirt. Two gates to get through. It’s pretty dark inside and only has 12 volt power, but it has every thing you need to be comfortable. It’s an older cabin so the stairs are quite steep and the treads are short. It’s a modified A frame so there are areas you can hit your head. The owners utilized every inch of available space to add comfort. The bathroom is sizable as well. The only suggestion I would give is since there are virtually no closets that there would be hooks to hang things on especially in the bedrooms. The cabin sits on a creek with tons of trails and short drive to Lynx Lake. I highly recommend for a true off grid adventure.
