About this property

The Stone House Between the Streams

While staying here, you will get to drive over a little bridge and past a winding stream to get to our historic stone house where you will stay. The original structure was built in 1758. Out in the country with Amish neighbors all around, you will be delighted with the peaceful environment created by the little streams, rustic barn, and buggies going by on the road. The property use to be a winery with it's own vineyards. The house was where the vintner lived.

Guest access

Please make yourself at home, we love when we see guests enjoying our property. We have lots of outside space you can use like a fire pit, lots of wooded area for a picnic or a walk, patio area, deck, or you can sit down by the stream to enjoy the peace and quiet sound of rushing water.
These are all shared spaces, so please be respectful to other guest when using them.

Other things to note

* Consider staying even if you won't be using all the bedrooms.

* We have a laundry room. Go out the front door and head straight to the red barn where the big deck staircase is. You will see a dark brown door underneath the deck. The door is always unlocked & the light switch is inside the door, feel free to help yourself.

Relaxing and cozy home

I enjoyed their house so much! The style of the house was amazing! Amazing price for how big the house was. My daughter loved the doll house and was attached to it! Very clean and felt like I was at home but better! Have a nice conversation with her. She is friendly and jf you ever need help she answers very fast! Thank you for welcoming my family into your home!

Peace and Serenity

We experienced wonderful hospitality at a lovely house with a peaceful and serene setting. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the selection of coffees and teas that were offered. We also had the opportunity to go on a buggy ride and share a delicious home made meal with an Amish family. We would be happy to visit again.

Very special place

Situated in a quiet place. Place was set up very nicely, clean, there was water in the fridge, candles on the table, coffee and tea. Loved the fire place, there was everything needed for the fire place. The owner was reachable and helpful. Very early morning before the sun rose, someone was playing piano, and I really enjoyed the pleasant music. I really liked the swing outside. There was only one drawback, the sink is located upstairs in the bathroom, I would have preferred that there should also be another sink downstairs, it's not a big deal. There were interesting books that my friend found interesting. I really appreciated all the small details that made it feel like home. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!
