The LANDING is a well appointed cabin in the heart of Hochatown and newly build, an outdoor entertainers’ dream!!! Walking distance to local restaurants and bars!!!Oversized deck which boasts custom moveable shutters with several seating areas, a wood fire pit and firewood provided, gas fire table, 5 person jacuzzi, horseshoes, and cornhole. Bring your loved ones and sit outside by the fire, share old stories and create new lifelong memories over s’mores that we provide. Bring your favorite book or just sit back and enjoy the abundance of wildlife that frequent this property from Eastern Blue Bird, Pileated Woodpecker, Cardinals, hummingbird, a doe or two with her two fawn and a yearling. The Landing offers a circular driveway with tons of parking for your boat, jet ski, and ATV with the marina and trails only minutes away!

The Landing that landed our hearts

We loved our stay at The Landing! Everything was so clean and maintained well. The most impressive thing was the responsiveness of the property owners. They were “with us” the whole time - whether it was to answer our questions of where to find things, or needing to send someone out to take care of stuff. This was such a lovely vacation! We will definitely be returning!

Wonderful vacatation

We absolutely loved both the cabin and the hosts! Walking in felt like a true 5-star experience, with thoughtful amenities spread throughout the home. The hosts were fantastic, and the location was perfect—within walking distance of the spots we were excited to visit for dining and drinks. Plus, it was close to the park. Highly recommend!

Perfect couple retreat

The inside of the cabin was beautiful and cozy. The location was close to everything. We will definitely be coming back. Perfect relaxing weekend. We saw 7 deer in the backyard! We enjoyed hiking, fishing, great meals, and the hot tub.

Quality Property

Pics on website are true to form. Place is spotless and tastefully appointed. Within walking distance of a couple of eateries and a brewery. Owner was phenomenally responsive.

Dianne the property owner was extremely nice and accommodating! Actually the best owner I have ever dealt with. The property is very clean and furnished very nicely! We will be back again soon!! She has thought of so many details and provides more than most owners! Loved it!

The Landing is Amazing

We loved staying at The Landing! It was easy to find. We saw deer every day and enjoyed the outdoor Lounge spaces. It was peaceful and quiet but still close to all the in town accommodations! Definitely will be back!

This cabin was located near a lot of the main attractions in Hochatown. We saw deer right outside the cabin and kiddos loved the hot tub. Communication with Diane was seamless and the property was very clean. Will definitely come back and stay here again.

The home exceeded expectations- aesthetically impressive, well stocked with thoughtful touches like toiletries baskets and a s’more fixin tray. Several comfortable seating areas on the patio and back yard. We had a ball kayaking and hiking at near by Beaver Bend state park.The hosts were communicative and could not have been more accommodating!

It was so very clean and comfortable. The owners were quick to respond to questions. The s’mores kit was so nice. My favorite was sitting on the patio in the early morning watching deer!!!! We had a great time. We would definitely stay here again!!!!!!

Loved our stay at the Landing! Loved all the amenities. Kitchen had all we needed for our stay. Beds super comfortable and location was perfect to everything. We saw deer in the mornings just outside the patio. We definitely would stay here again!

Easter Weekend 2024

Had a wonderful weekend at The Landing with my son and his family. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed including some extra's! The location was close to everything Hotchatown has to offer. However, we didn't venture out much as we were enjoying all the amenities of our home away from home.

Beautiful cabin a perfect fit for a family of 4 or 5.

Loved staying at The Landing cabin for a couple nights over Spring Break. The cabin had all the supplies we needed (even stuff for smores!). We stayed with three kids ages 10, 8, and 4, and we all slept comfortably thanks to the extra roll-away. Enjoyed the cozy fireplace, hot tub, and outdoor space. The cabin has a simple, functional floor plan with lots of natural light. Also enjoyed the cabin’s location, which is near everything in Hochatown.

Lovely Stay

I stayed here with my brother this past weekend, and we were in disbelief at how perfect the property was. The hosts left toiletries, plenty of towels, supplies for smores, hot cocoa, coffee, tea, popcorn….and freshly chopped firewood. The fireplace was amazing, and both rooms had large televisions. The spa jacuzzi was amazing, and the property itself is very roomy. What a nice place to enjoy a winter weekend and bond with my little bro. I will definitely be back to The Landing again. What fantastic, thoughtful, and communicative hosts!
