David and Holly's place was perfect for our weekend getaway to visit our son. They had thought of every convenience... a wonderful assortment of coffees, farm fresh eggs, and the most delicious homemade bread. They even had disposable slippers for going to and from the hot tub!!
The house was centrally located for all our sightseeing and was very peaceful. My favorite part had to be the beautiful sunrises every morning.
We will definitely book again.
Home was cozy and peaceful. David and Holly are very responsive and caring hosts. They responded to our concerns quite quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you're looking looking for a quiet place with a lot of amenities look to rent here. We enjoyed the hot tub each day we stayed and the eggs and homemade was such a nice bonus.
We loved our weekend at Thyme Away. I was there with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday and the home was perfect for gathering together for good food and relaxation. We really enjoyed the backyard with the fire pit and hot tub. The kitchen was well supplied for making meals. The location was good for visiting wineries and breweries in the area.
Owners excellent with communication and provided fresh eggs and artisan bread Thank you Kitchen had all of the amenities we needed Unit was clean and very nice inside Close to our family and many Wineries

A little disappointed.
The owners were very responsive and got back to us in a timely manner. We read all the reviews and were looking forward to our stay. The wineries were within a few miles which was nice.
What was disappointing, is that there was a ton of vegetation that was overgrown around the home. Some of the vegetation was covering the entry path into the home. The inside of the home was nice, but due to the fact that the form of AC was window units, we were killing flies throughout our stay. Another concern was as we were relaxing in the early evening, a mouse ran across the living room area and climbed into one of the vents.
The area in the back was also overgrown. Much of the paint on the stairwells was chipping off. In our personal opinion, we just felt very "dirty" dealing with all the flies and a mouse and felt it could be cleaner.
This a great property. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped. Four good sized bedrooms. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Loved the hot tub and firepit! The hosts also left us a delicious loaf of everything bread to enjoy!
The property was exactly as described and was just what we needed and wanted! The location of the home was great based on the wineries and breweries we wanted to visit. The hosts were wonderful with communication and the bread and fresh eggs were a lovely touch! The outdoor space was our favorite aspect with the hot tub and we were stocked with enough wood to build a campfire each night of our stay. We look forward to staying at this property again!!
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into our home away from home.
David & Holly had a happy birthday banner hanging in the main room and left a heart shape of rose petals on the master bed as an anniversary surprise! There was a loaf of fresh baked bread in the kitchen and farm fresh eggs in the fridge. Both were so delicious and we enjoyed them each morning for breakfast.
There was a little hiccup with the hot tub being at temp upon arrival, and our hosts were gracious to provide us with extra goodies of homemade hot sauce and an additional nights stay. That meant a lot to us! They get EXTRA STARS in our book for going above and beyond.
The property was nice with a fire pit and wood on the back patio. The hot tub was clean and provided necessary relaxation. We enjoyed having Alexa to play music for us throughout our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could prepare meals at the house.
There are many wineries, breweries, eateries and other places to visit within a short distance of this VRBO. Highly recommend Bully Hill winery, B6D Distillery and The Switz restaurant. We will likely be back again in the future and want to THANK our hosts for being super awesome!
This was the perfect place for a Romantic Getaway! A beautiful home, with a beautiful view - topped off with fireplaces, a fire pit and a hot tub! The quiet, private locale allowed the best opportunity to step away from a hectic life to focus on each other. There is an adorable Alpaca farm around the corner for animal lovers and a short ride to the finger lakes to explore. The gorgeous Watkins Glen is also nearby! The home baked bread and fresh eggs waiting for us made us feel more than welcome. I can't recommend this home enough. With its lovely decor, amenities and luxuries provided - it truly is the ideal getaway!
We had a great time on our trip. The hosts were very flexible and understanding. They have thought of everything you could possibly need on your trip that you may not have thought to bring. The property was clean, the landscape of the property and surrounding area was beautiful. We loved to watch the sunrise in the mornings from the back door. I cannot say enough good things about the property and it's hosts.
This was our second time staying here and again the accommodations were excellent. We enjoyed the fresh eggs and the homemade bread. We look forward to staying here in the future. David and Holly, again, thank you.
David and Holly operate a most gracious and hospitable stay. We very much enjoyed their home for the weekend. We found everything we needed, including an extra surprise of farm fresh eggs and warm homemade bread. Enjoyed our conversation too! Cannot thank you enough for the extra attention! Glenn and Eileen
This was the perfect place to stay for our Anniversary get away! Close to alot of things! Very nice place very clean and up to date!
The bread qnd eggs was a nice qdded touch.
The photos and description were spot on. Very comfortable and accommodations were very nice. Rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. We utilized the kitchen to make a few meals, used the outdoor area for snacks and a bonfire. Property manager was great with quick responses for a few questions we had prior to our trip. I would highly recommend this property to others.
The house was easy to find and centrally located to the places we planned on visiting. The owners were welcoming and very nice. Thru also welcomed our parrot to this rental. It was nice and quiet and the yard was also lovely. We were surprised how many people could comfortably fit here. Wonderful spot!

The chairs and benches were covered in bird poop. Stickers all around the steps. No outside trash can and fire pit was full of ashes.
We made the best of our stay.
This is a very clean, nice place to stay. We were provided farm fresh eggs and a loaf of homemade bread. We requested more eggs and they provided. We met with the one owner who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I hghly recommend staying here.
Check-in and Check-out were simple. Our hosts provided amenities that made us feel right at home. It was a nice touch to come in the house to music playing and the living room fireplace (electric) turned on. We also enjoyed the bread and fresh eggs that were waiting for us. Our hosts were very responsive when we had questions. We were very pleased with our stay.
