stay okay, but then the trouble started

We enjoyed our stay (2 weeks) in Bacilly. The house was okay, the garden very nice. In the first week the internet did not work, but this was fixed within a few days. We (4 adults and one 5-year old boy) did not book cleaning (offered for 100€) and did it on our own. Our families had many trips together (several trips with "fewo") and we always clean our houses properly - never having any complaints about it! After leaving we got a message of the manager / cleaning-lady of the building: She sent us of lot of pictures of an allegedly dirty dwelling which she could not offer to the next guests. She expected us to clean the house so that she would not have any further work!!! She complained for example that some chairs were not arranged properly around the table and that we had left the dishwasher with (clean!) dishes in it (breakfast before leaving) - which she had offered to us herself! And how should we make beds for new guests with no washing machine to clean our sheets?! It was simply ridiculous! The cleaning-lady sent us a message and demanded 100€. First we thought, she simply wanted to enlarge her salary, but then we even got a message of the owner himself now demanding 200€ (!) for the cleaning. This "elective" cleaning service expects the leaving guests to clean and prepare the house for the next guests! ... which is simply impossible!

Un séjour normand particulièrement cosy

Nous avons choisi cette maison pour sa cheminée et son salon cosy, nous n'avons pas été déçus ! L'accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux. Les conseils pour un séjour familial ont été pertinents. Nous avons même eu des jeux en plus pour les enfants. La proximité avec le Mont Saint Michel, Granville, les sites de randonnées, les abbayes à visiter... tout était parfait pour une semaine de vacances. merci beaucoup !

Gîte à Bacilly

Gite impeccable .Très bon accueil. Nous étions 5 ,2 adultes et 3 ados et un chien. Maison conforme aux photos. Nous avons pu visiter les plages du débarquement, les differents musées, les cimetieres et le mont saint michel.Nous y retournerons sans soucis. Un grand merci.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus mit tollem Garten

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem schönen Naturstein-Häuschen sehr genossen und das kleine Dörfchen Bacilly war wunderbar ruhig und ein toller Ausgangsort für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Empfehlenswert und super für Hunde geeignet!

Logement bien situé

Logement agréable, nous avons eu du beau temps et avons passé nôtre séjour dans le jardin qui est très agréable. Nathalie nous a très bien reçu et avons pu profité pleinement de notre séjour. Logement situé à 30 min du mont Saint Michel. Plage de Genêt etbec d'andaine à 10 min en voiture et très agréable. Coucher de soleil incroyable au bord de la mer( jour des aurores boréales).

Super sejour en Normandie

Très bonnes vacances en Normandie à Bacilly... bien sûr nous avons eu les 4 saisons mais cela ne nous a pas du tour deranger car il y a beaucoup de choses a faire même par temps de pluie. Bacilly, la maison est très bien placée pour rayonner/visiter. Maison propre, très bien agencée et surtout avec beaucoup de vaisselle et matériel de cuisine c'est très appreciable. La gérante est très accueillante et serviable. Si vraiment je devais émettre un petit conseil ou point a améliorer c'est la visibilité sur le jardin car du coup pas d'intimité, tout le village nous vois . Sinon il est top et grand en plus vraiment dommage.

Une maison très agréable et parfaitement située !

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine ! Le gîte est très agréable et chaleureux, pensé pour les familles. Équipements au top dans une maison fonctionnelle. Nous avons également bien profité du jardin et de la terrasse. Sa localisation idéale nous a permis de faire de belles balades : musée du débarquement à Arromanches-les-Bains, Mont Saint Michel, Granville… Les animaux sont également les bienvenus : un vrai plus !

Maison agréable, bien équipée avec un jardin clos. Bien située pour faire des visites : Mont Saint Michel, Granville, Iles Chausey, Avranche. Nous y avons séjourné en famille avec 4 adolescents et notre chien. Tout le monde a bien apprécié le séjour.

Sehr schönes Haus

Das Haus ist modern und hochwertig renoviert und ausgestattet. Einen Thermomix vorzufinden haben wir nicht erwartet und hat uns sehr begeistert. Der Garten war für unseren Hund eine riesen Freude-komplett eingezäunt konnte er sein Reich genießen. Das Haus selber liegt sehr ländlich. Ohne Auto geht nichts. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen.

Lovely place

Excellent property manager who responded very quickly to any questions. House is well renovated with a great kitchen and modern bathrooms. The backyard was a huge bonus for my kids. Bacilly is a very small town a short drive from some gorgeous beaches and about 45 mins from Mt St Michel. We really enjoyed our stay.
