Uncomfortable Mattress to Ruin a Perfectly Great Condo

We have been regular visitors to Beachside Villas for our annual beach getaway, drawn back each year by the fantastic amenities and convenient location. This property boasts an array of attractions, including a heated pool, beach shuttle service, and tennis courts—all of which contribute to a memorable vacation experience.Our recent stay, however, left us somewhat divided. The condo itself was spacious and suited our family well, featuring three bedrooms and ample dining space. Unfortunately, the standout issue was the quality of the mattresses. They were a significant letdown.The mattresses were uncomfortable and distinctly cheap, reminiscent of old-fashioned spring mattresses with a plastic-like covering. This led to restless nights, with constant tossing and turning in search of a comfortable position. Given that our primary use of the condo was for sleeping and refreshing, this aspect of our stay was particularly disappointing.Despite this setback, we appreciated the otherwise well-maintained condition of the condo. The cleanliness and general upkeep were commendable. However, the discomfort caused by the mattresses did detract from our overall enjoyment.For those looking to maximize time on the beach or taking advantage of the on-site amenities, Beachside Villas remains a solid choice. Just be mindful of the bedding situation if you prioritize a good night's sleep during your stay.
