The house was very clean and well-equipped. Communication with the owners was easy, and all amenities were of high quality. Our group was happy with the choice, and we certainly recommend this place.
My friends and I came back to Cornell to attend our 35th reunion. Having a house for all of us to use as a base was so much better than staying in the dorms. This house in Cayuga Heights was very close to North Campus, close to the commons, and close to everything else we wanted to do. We spent most of our time on campus so did not have a chance to enjoy all the amenities available, but we had a great experience at the house and we hope we can book it again for our 40th Reunion!
We had a wonderful 5-day family vacation. The house is beautiful and comfortable, very elegantly furnished and stocked with everything you can possibly need. There was plenty of room for our family of 7.
Nice and quiet area, close to downtown Ithaca and parks.
Very easy to communicate with owners.
The house was clean and very well kept. There were plenty of towels, blankets and extra bedding either laid out for us or easily found. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to prepare lots of meals with everything we needed. My family of six was comfortable with plenty of space to spread out as well as several places to gather for eating meals and playing games. The convenience to Cornell is fantastic. It was also easy to hop on 13 and travel around to see many of Ithaca's state parks. The owners were responsive and kind. We would definitely stay here again for future Ithaca visits.
Three day trip to Cayaga and Seneca lakes in a group of 4 families
The property was very clean. We chose not to use the basement (no washing required) or the grill (raining). Lots of linens, towels and kitchen utensils and supplies.
Only issue is that the bunk bed arrangement is not comfortable for 2 older adults. Not recommended to use the ladder to use the upper bunk.
Property owner was extremely prompt replying to our queries.
All 8 of us felt very good staying there. Neighborhood is very quiet.
We stepped into this charming house and felt immediately at home for our four night stay. The gardens added color galore to the patio, walkway, and breezeway and made sitting outside so completely enjoyable. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. Towels were plentiful and thoughtfully laid out in each room with additional towels available in each of the bathrooms. Instructions were clear, easy to follow, and quite reasonable. Our hosts went above and beyond to accommodate a change in our travel and they were responsive to every question and need. The house is in a peaceful area yet conveniently located near Cornell, "The Heights" restaurant, and provisioning shops. We felt that the house gave us the quintessential Upstate NY experience and can't wait to return!
The Cayuga Heights location was 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca. THis location allowed for easy back and forth access.
The home was well appointed with quality amenities this was a very pleasant surprise. The owner provided us with access for more than the comforts of our own home.
Perfect location for us, halfway between Cornell campus and Purity Ice Cream! Well appointed kitchen, comfortable setting, attentive host. We had 4 stay but could handle 6 easily.
My husband and I spent 4 nights here and loved it. Quiet quiet neighborhood . We stayed in the upstairs king size bed, it was very spacious and light filled.
The relatives also visiting were able to meet for group dinner at our house because everyone else was in a hotel , so that was fantastic . Kitchen fully loaded and some . Hosts very helpful . Defiantly stay here again .
We had 6 females on a college reunion. Place worked out well. Outdoor area pleasant, dining area was a great place to gather.
Only issue was the lighting in a few rooms.
We were a family group visiting a family member who lives at Kendal at Ithaca, which is right across the way. We have been coming to visit this area for 20 years and have stayed at all the other available options. This lovely, clean, quiet and well equipped home is by far the best place we have stayed. Highly recommend.
Very well stocked kitchen, lovely indoor and outdoor dining options even with a table under a roof for sitting outside when raining. Greg and Myra were accessible and helpful. Beds comfortable, luxurious shower in master BR. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to Cornell, downtown Ithaca, and the waterfalls and gorges.

Needs upgrades
Check in was smooth, we quickly figured that the house needed major upgrades and thorough cleaning. There is dated furniture and the entire house seemed to need updates other than the bathroom on the first floor. Its a small cozy home however it needs proper dusting and cleaning and furniture and utensil updates for the price being asked on vrbo.
The exterior lawn and garden were maintained very well.
Great location (big backyard, quiet street, beautiful flowers), clean bathrooms, clean and comfortable beds and pillows. Fully stocked kitchen. Homeowner was very responsive regarding an issue we ran into. The less than great; we felt like we were visiting the owners, not renting. There was a lot of personal items in the master bedroom and kitchen/refrigerator/freezer. I would not consider the second floor to be fully air conditioned. They have fans to help pull the air into the room from the vents and they advise to keep bedroom doors closed but it still felt warm. Basement has a ton of toys but be warned mouse dropping were found among the toy bins.
It was great staying at this beautiful clean home in Ithaca while visiting our daughter at Cornell. The decor and artifacts (such as Indonesian furniture and wine cabinets) were especially a nice touch.
Comfortable property in quiet residential neighborhood , yet convenient to shopping , Cornell and downtown Ithaca. Nice outdoor space for entertaining/meals , good office setup for WFH. Fully appointed kitchen.
Beautiful house rental for a college/sightseeing trip in Ithaca!
Less than 10 min drive to Cornell, the location is unbeatable. This house is perfect for a group of 5-8 people. My group was 4 adults and 2 teenagers and each of us has a lot of space to do work/study and to hang out (the downstairs office was haven for my husband as he needed to work a bit and the desk in the upstairs bedroom served my son well as he is a busy high school junior.) I liked the kitchen the most, which was well stocked with cookware, utensils and dishware. We cooked breakfasts and one lunch there. As for my daughter, she loved the bunk bed (yes even though she's fourteen). My 80-year old dad stayed in the luxury first-floor master bedroom suite and he had a great time. Due to his age, the night was a bit cold for him, but there was the heater in the room! How thoughtful! And we all loved the deck and the breezeway. Sitting there in the evening hours was the best thing you can do during your vacation.
Greg and Myra were very responsive, and booking and communication was easy. Thank you Grey and Myra for making our vacation a great one!
The home is extremely comfortable and spacious with a a great common area, outdoor patio/grill area and yard. Rooms are all very nice and comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood but walking distance to Ithaca Bakery and a few shops. only a few minute drive to downtown Ithaca and Cornell. The owners Greg and Myra were extremely hospital and responsive to questions. Highly recommend!
