Step back in time! Restored 1830s Log Cabin just a few short minutes from downtown Round Top. Sleeps 2-3 with 1 queen bed, a rollaway twin, kitchenette with fridge & Keurig coffee maker, and a spacious living area that offers a moody and rustic vibe. Relax on the inviting front porch beneath the live oaks in a country setting with pool, stocked pond, courtyard, game room and pickleball court. Your recreational retreat awaits!

The Lone Star Farm (LSF) is a private retreat less than 2 miles from downtown Round Top! Amenities on the property include a pool, pickleball court, catch and release fishing pond, large 200+ year old trees and a seasonal fire pit. The front 5 acres of the farm are maintained for guest use for an authentic country retreat! We manage LSF as a year round rental option for guests looking to relax and explore all Round Top has to offer. Between the 3 cabins and Farmhouse on the property, we can accommodate up to 20 guests and also have a community barn with a full kitchen and dining area which can be added to your stay for an additional fee.

Wonderful Cabin, Location and Property

An amazingly cute, clean and updated cabin despite the house being old. Wonderful shower/bathroom and sleeping options for a weekend stay in Round Tip for my husband, myself and our 14-year old son! For 2 to 3 people this cabin is perfect and we will definitely return.

Shopping trip

Beautiful country cabin close to shopping. Owners were very responsive when we had any issue. It’s in the country so be prepared, cell service and Wi-Fi aren’t great. Overall great getaway.

If you are looking for a cute and rustic style place to stay while visiting the area, look no further. This place is close to all the things the area has to offer, and is tucked away in the woods to give you a very quiet and tranquil place to relax after shopping.

Absolutely Enchanting!

We loved our time at Lone Star Farm! So many little details were in place to make us feel at home, both inside the cabin and on the property. The trees and the birds and the overall set-up of the area could not have been more perfect. Examples are the firepit all set up with a fire log and lighter, the pickleball court with the pickleball paddles and balls, the fish pond with fish food already there - so many lovely and thoughtful details. Plus all of the nice comforts like a beautiful, modern bathroom with the charm and quiet elegance of a cabin in the woods - together served to create a ideal spot to relax and enjoy a beautiful couple of days. Thank you! PS if anyone is looking for a family reunion or corporate retreat - this place is perfect!

Cute cabin

My husband and I spent a relaxing night here! The grounds are nice and the cabin itself is very cozy with a comfortable Queen bed upstairs and two big chairs for kicking back downstairs. There were only two towels in the bathroom, but otherwise everything was as we expected or better. Would definitely come again.
