Awesome casita stay!!!

The casita is attractive, walking in was a surprisingly cheerful, bright and cozy. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook for ourselves. It is the best rental we have stayed at.

Perfect for our mother-daughter getaway

Wonderful retreat and hummingbird oasis in range of many San Luis Valley attractions. The online photos really don’t do this place justice - we aim to return! Only two restaurants in town, which get really busy. I recommend purchasing food from the local mercantile or market to cook in the cute and satisfactorily equipped kitchen (no staples except coffee/tea, salt and pepper, so bring EVERYTHING you need) or plan to wait patiently for the exceptional service at either of the places offering local fare - and recognize that the seasonal tourist rush puts a LOT of pressure on the small staff. Our Crestone Casita hosts and everyone we met were extremely friendly and accommodating - small town love!

A bit of paradise

The setting is lovely and quiet. The casita clean, comfortable, and efficiently set up. Every detail is considered aesthetically. The path to the casita is gravel with a few stone steps, which could be a bit challenging for someone who is mobile compromised, but not an issue for the average person. I would definitely stay again!
