This was the perfect place to stay in the mountains/wilderness of the Montana/Idaho/Wyoming borders. Perfect for day trips to Yellowstone and exploring the local areas. It was great for our two families of 4 with a bunk room with two bunk beds for the 4 kids in the basement with a game room. It made our trip to Yellowstone so homey and nice.
This vacation home was so perfect for our family getaway! Better than advertised!
We had plenty of room to spread out and plenty of fun things to do as a family on a relaxing stay at home day. The kitchen had all we needed, we had access to extra blankets and pillows, and the host was very responsive and helpful to all of our questions. Would definitely stay here again! We loved the location too. Felt like it was a nice central proximity to north and south Yellowstone & Jackson Hole.
Great property accommodating our group of 10 (adults and kids family get together), very clean and great location (easy access to Yellowstone and other fun). Owners were very responsive in communication as well…5 stars!
Great location with easy access to West Yellowstone and Henry Lake. Our family enjoyed the spaciousness of the cabin as well as the game room with pool table. We saw a bull moose and a moose cow with her baby calf. Highly recommend for Yellowstone vacation!
I can’t say enough about wow factor this property has. The decor was amazing. Everything you need is provided for. The pool table was a hit with the kids. We were able to hear moose from the property and saw one on the way back to the property from Yellowstone. This place was a big part of the memories we made on this vacation.
Fantastic Jump-off point for your Yellowstone Adventures!
This house was perfect for our family vacation. We spent two nights here and the kids (17-21 years old) loved the pool/ping pong table in the basement! The views were great and the outdoor porches and living space were perfect for us. Great place to stay and we will definitely rent again when we get back to the Island Park area. Also only 20ish miles north of Upper Mesa Falls, which is a hidden gem! 5 stars all around
We spent a lot of time on the decks you see in the pictures, and the kitchen was well-stocked with supplies for cooking.
We had 5 small kids from 1-7 years old, 3 seniors, and 4 thirty-somethings. Plenty of room for everyone, although with that many people, one more bathroom would’ve been great, but it was minor.
The house was very clean, and check-in & check-out were super easy.
Perfect location just outside the West Entrance!!! This house had all the amenities to keep our family of 8 occupied when we were there. Pool, ping pong, darts, great decks, and a big table for game night!!! The house was very clean, and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful!!! Jason was very accessible to answer any questions we had. 20 mins to West Yellowstone, and a little over 2 hours to the Grand Tetons!!! So much fun!!!
Beautiful and well kept cabin with convenient access to Yellowstone Park
We truly enjoyed our stay at this spacious cabin which had plenty of room for our group of 12 adults/children to spread out. We enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen which was well stocked with dishes, cookware, spices, etc. While the dining area was ample for communal dining. the large covered deck with table overlooking aspens, a pasture and Sawtell mountain provided a bigger draw for dining; especially with the beautiful sunsets and roaming antelope:) Additionally, there was a grill on the deck with the nice touch of having an extra propane tank available if needed. Beds with linens were comfortable and both bathrooms were immaculate. The game room in basement had a pool table which was a big hit for both young and old. Lastly, the cabin was conveniently located being close to Yellowstone but also very close to other recreation areas and activities we were unaware of including Macks Inn float trips, Harriman State Park with horseback riding, Henry's Lake, and others.
A wonderful place to group as a family, enjoy meals, ping-pong tournaments, or, if you want some alone time, this cabin offers plenty of spaces for quiet as well. Well stocked grocery store less than 10 minutes from the cabin. Your hosts clearly have you in mind with all the necessities readily accessible, from spices and cooking oils to paper towels and garage bags. Plenty of dishes, coffee cups, children's dishes and cups, etc. We stayed 4 days, went to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons had a wonderful time. Our family ranged from 67 yrs old (me) down to our grand-daughter, 3 yrs. old. The teenagers went 4- wheeling, also very close to the cabin, and had the time of their lives. The road to the cabin is a bit steep, but we had a van and we were able to navigate. But it is just expected in order to enjoy the nature. In fact, a moose came very close to the house, we were able to watch from the safety of the deck. I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends.

The Island Park area is beautiful. The view from the house was wonderful! However, there was a boil order that was in place and appears to have been in place for 2 weeks prior to our arrival. The property manager never mentioned this to us. There was a notice nailed to a tree at the entrance to the subdivision, visible only from one direction. Unfortunately since it was after dark when we arrived we did not see the sign. After a couple of days into our stay we saw the notice. We should have been informed prior to arrival!! The furniture was worn out and dirty. The bedding was worn out. There was hair in one of the beds and appeared to not have been washed. The pillows were worn out and did not have a protective cover on them, only a case. The frying pans had peeling teflon. We were definitely disappointed especially for the amount we paid :/
Angel and Jason were terrific hosts! This property is absolutely stunning. It’s fully functional with a garbage disposal, dishwasher, pots, pans, utensils, blender, toaster, coffee pot, popcorn machine and there was even spices and oil. There are two porches outside one upstairs and one right off the kitchen that has a grill that we used quite often, it was fully stocked with propane and grilling utensils. Spacious with central air, two bathrooms, a pool table, washer and dryer, and even a fire pit... The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of them! We really couldn’t have asked for anything more. There were nine of us all together staying in the house and it was not crowded at all it was absolutely perfect.
The scenery is breathtaking around 4 PM we had a moose walk down our driveway! From both porches you can see down into a field where there are cattle that you can hear as well. They were fishing poles and bicycles in the garage as well as coolers that we took down to Henry’s lake for the day, did some trails and fishing and even some swimming for only $10 a car. It was only 20-25 minutes from the Yellowstone West entrance. Seriously couldn’t ask for a better spot, better accommodations, or better hosts. Thank you so much Angel and Jason, would love to come and stay again in a few years! You guys really thought of everything!
The Fremont County property was tucked away in a quiet, wooded area, but close enough to drive directly to Yellowstone's west entrance each day...the perfect distance with good driving views. The house was roomy for our family and the well-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook instead of eat out each day. There is a balcony on each level that was awesome to sit and have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine while the sun went down. Many awesome surprises caught us off guard, like the bear spray to take with us while hiking Yellowstone and Henry Lake (thank goodness we never needed it!), the binoculars to use for wildlife viewing, the games to play around the table at night, and the ping pong/billiards table in the lower level for competitively heated couples' games!! The only concern we had was getting in and out of the drive's steep hill when the gravel was wet, as our vehicle wheels spun going up to the road each morning we left for the park. But, just take it slow and it won't be a problem. Overall, the house is in an excellent location; we had a wonderful time at this property and would highly recommend it, especially to families with children.
The house was clean and well suited for our needs. Close to West Yellowstone and many other outdoor activities. Make sure you visit Earthquake Lake, what a site.
We had the most amazing time in Yellowstone and our stay at Jesse's house was perfect. We had 8 adults and one child and everyone had their own bedrooms and the house had lots of space for family gatherings. We loved the pool and ping pong room and the large dining tables inside and out. The house was clean and spacious, and they had everything we needed from Bear spray to a fully equipped house. We were so close to the Yellowstone Park it was about a 20 minute drive in every day. The town itself also had so much to do with fly fishing, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding. Thanks to Jesse we had constant communication whenever I had a question. I give this house a+++++ rating and would highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful, Clean Cabin perfect for large groups & kids
This cabin was fantastic for our family. It was clean & was accurately portrayed. We enjoyed the pool table. The location was perfect if you want to be close (20 minutes) to the West entrance of Yellowstone, basically a straight shot to it not many turns. We had a large bull Moose casually eat his way through the back yard right below the porch the first evening around 8pm local, so neat! A buck came through the next morning too! I would love to stay here again! They thought about everything, even had chargers for the most common devices available in every bedroom. The bunk room was perfect for the four kids! Highly recommend this unit!!! 5 Stars all the way!!
This was a good property for our family to spread out. We could utilize the loft for the kids space and give us grown ups a break. It is a quick drive to West Yellowstone Park. We would stay there again.
Nice kitchen upgrades. Beautiful setting. Clean and comfortable. Most noteworthy is the expansive patio area. Only suggestion is to add a couple dressers for clothing storage for a couple of the rooms.
