The stay was amazing the view is great the house is very cozy .Its perfect for a family get away ,and it feels at home .The woods around it is very calming .the house owner provides great service ,and is very co-operative .
The property was as listed and just what we were looking for on a quick trip to Boone. I would stay again. The only negative was the heat was off when we arrived. The weather was below freezing and it took 5 hours for the house to get warm. We sat around in our jackets and under blankets
We really enjoyed this stay in this beautiful cabin with beautiful surroundings. The Boone scenery is one of the most amazing views we have experienced. We loved seeing the many deer that walk past these parts. I recommend this location to anyone who enjoys nature And tranquility.
The house was just as advertised and it is highly recommended. It was not too far out, but yet, it was secluded enough. We enjoyed the view while watching the deer play on the mountain just across the street. Thank you for letting us stay at your home. We really enjoyed it and cannot wait to visit again soon!
This little house was prettier than the pictures. Upon entering the house felt clean and nicely decorate -airy and not stuffy or dark at all. The WIFI was good, the only TV in the house had Netflix which was great. The rooms were large and the closet space larger than needed for a short stay. However, none one ever complains about large closets. The beds were comfortable and the bed linens were appropriate. The white towels were soft and good quality. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There was basic seasoning in the pantry and popcorn. Also a water filter is available which was nice and eco friendly.
The immediate area around the house was good for my outdoorsy kids. The firepit offered entertainment and they played on the snow almost a full day. I am respectful of other people's property so for me it was difficult to determine the property limits which gave me worry about where I and my teenage kids were walking. They love to just walk around with their BB guns and not knowing if they were walking into other people's property was worrisome. I did not reach out the owners so that is on me. The area is very pretty and close to Boone. The roads in/out to Boone is easy to drive; no scary death defying cliffs and turns which is very nice for those who live in South Florida and are not use to mountain terrain. There a few cons: no dishwasher, no washer and dryer and you have to take your own trash out to a designated recycling area.
Overall it was nice experience.
well, was not sure what to expect, the house was very comfortable for 4 adults and the mountain view became a great source of entertainment featuring lawn maintenance and a family of deer each morning. good location for boone and hiking in general.
