We like woods, and we like cabins. Connie made sure that we had everything that we needed. Even without asking. But, we like simple, too. So, everything was just fine for us. My only suggestion might be to cool the cabin down before guests arrive. That part took awhile.

Quiet and Relaxing

The property itself was gorgeous and the cabins were well maintained. We enjoyed the relative seclusion, while also knowing that others were staying nearby. Being just a short drive from Devil's Den, we woke up early on Saturday, had coffee on the porch, and went for a hike before it got warm. Couldn't recommend these cabins enough - we hope to be back very soon!

Bring your own toiletries, there was no shower soap. Downstairs stays much cooler than loft (heat rises). Cozy place to stay and great for family time. Easy access to State park. Enjoyed the sunset by the lake in front of cabin.

Grandma’s Cabin

Had to be in Springdale for a deposition & didn’t want to be near a lot of noise & traffic. This is the perfect spot to relax & rejuvenate. It is only 30 minutes from Fayetteville/Springdale. The hostess is wonderful & the cabin has all the accommodations you would need! This was my second trip to the cabins & I hope to enjoy many more!!!

Fun time overall

The cabin was nice overall. When we checked in, the key was not in the lockbox as instructed. We tried to call and left a message. No response…luckily my son found the key under some briquettes on the porch. It was very clean inside but very tight for a family of 6. It was fun for the kids to sleep in the loft but there is no where to put your bags, other than to drag them up a ladder. The next day we did reach out to the host about a different issue and she was very responsive and very nice! Overall it was a fun short stay but be advised that it is more suitable for 4 or less.

Nice

The property is beautiful the cabins are very nice and clean but the photos need updated. we got there and there is construction on three other cabins right next to this one. things are not as private as the photos lead to believe for this reason. the road there is terrible I guess really it's the driveway but it's long and you definitely are going to want to truck especially if there's been any sort of bad weather or rain that could make it worse. we had a great time but not being warned of the construction was very frustrating for me as they were in our way to park and unload our things we had to back our truck completely out of the driveway because everything was in the way and if you saw the driveway you would realize how big of a pain that was.

Cabin Getaway

The cabin and hosts were absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating. Due to family emergency we had to switch dates which was done in a timely manner with caring response to our personal situation. The weekend we went was after the huge snow and ice storm and due to pipes bursting instead of canceling us, they switched us to their main cabin which was incredibly kind and amazing. The property is beautiful, peaceful with amazing views of the Arkansas hill country. Quiet and private just what we were looking for. We will be back very soon and can’t say enough about this beautiful place and the owners!! Thank you so much for our wonderful weekend getaway!

Weekend getaway

Very relaxing in a super cozy cabin. Everything we needed was there. Drawback was the small heater in the living room didn’t really heat the bedroom, but there was plenty of blankets . Great view and secluded which is what we were looking for . Overall fantastic experience.

Remote getaway

Don’t drive a small car cause getting up the road is rough. Definitely need ground clearance and could need 4wd. Super secluded and quaint. Very relaxing.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This is such a cozy cabin that's very secluded in the woods- definitely need 4WD to safely get to/from the property. Plenty of space to explore around outside and a nice pond right out the back door. Only about 20 min from Fayettville/groceries/restaurants. 10 min from trails at the breathtaking Devil's Den State Park. The property manager, Connie, is very responsive, nice, and accommodating! We'll definitely be making another trip here soon.

Cabin in the woods

We got what we were looking for! The drive way is pretty rocky, but our mini van made it. We loved the privacy. Our kids loved the lofts! Both lofts could use a box fan to keep cool in the hot summer months. All the supplies we needed were there, we just supplied the food and drinks!

Welcome to Winslow, Arkansas!
We are Vernon and Connie and are the proud parents of 12 children. As the grandchildren are being added, we decided to develop a place where they could come and visit and also be able to share that with others. Family is very important to us and having a place for families to be together and make memories is valuable! We love Arkansas and all the beauty that it offers. Come visit and enjoy the peace and beauty that God has created here.

What makes this property unique

Down in our little "holler" it is peaceful, quiet, and you feel a thousand miles away from the "rat race" yet you have running water, AC/Heat and a nice bed. You can hike on our 60 acres and scale the huge rocks down our ravine.
Fish, ride the peddle-boat, row a kayak on our little pond or just sit on the dock and take in the view.
A classic old time playground is great for the kids young and old. Try out the swings, merry-go-round, teeter-totters, and “whirly-gig”.
