Perfect location!! Just off the Parkway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg
Rambler's Rest Cabin is located in Wildwood Forest, a quiet community of 12 cabins located in the Smoky Mountains on a dead-end street with very little traffic and less than 2 miles from the Spur/Parkway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our cabin has a spacious parking area that can accommodate up to four vehicles and is built in a more level section of the forest, instead of hanging off of a cliff, which allows for dog walking areas and the deck with the hot tub is not precariously perched 75 to 100 feet above the ground. The deck is no more than 6 to 8 feet above the ground at it's highest point! The cabin has 2 bedrooms (updated with Sleep Number mattresses in February 2021) and 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably with the upstairs bedroom having a king-sized Sleep Number bed, the downstairs bedroom a queen-sized Sleep Number bed (using the remote allows you to control the ideal firmness and support of the mattress -- your Sleep Number setting) and the living room sofa makes a queen-sized bed also. Each bedroom and the living area has its own Vizio smart TV with Smartcast. Use your own streaming account or use the You Tube TV account pre-loaded on each TV to watch basic TV channels and local channels. Complimentary and unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi internet is available as well. The kitchen comes fully stocked with utensils and ample cookware for those times when you had rather have a quiet night in cooking the food that you provided with the GE stainless steel cook top/range or the GE stainless steel microwave, or utilize the charcoal grill located on site. Then afterwards step out onto the deck and relax in the new Trex outdoor furniture and take in the peacefulness of the forest or relax in the 6-person hot tub with color changing lights and gaze up at the stars. Upon your arrival, you will find a professionally cleaned cabin including clean bedding, ample towels and wash cloths, a small starter set of essentials such as trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper and dishwasher soap. There is a washer/dryer combo set available for your convenience but you will need to provide your own detergent and/or dryer sheets.
**Check in is after 3 PM eastern time. **Check out is before 10 AM eastern time. **This is a non-smoking cabin. Smoking is permitted outside but please extinguish all cig/cigars and dispose in the metal can next to the grill. **Cabin is pet friendly - the box for "bringing a pet" must be checked and pay the $100 pet fee(max-2) and abide by pet policy rules explained in the rental agreement.

We spent the first part of our spring break vacation in this wonderful cabin! The cabin was exactly as shown on the listing. Very clean, welcoming and cozy. Barry and Angie were great with communication and info! We had a great time and cannot wait to visit again!
This cabin is beautiful! Very well maintained, clean, well stocked in the kitchen for cooking meals and even extras like games and movies. The host was wonderful too! When we arrived our code would not work so I called and he was able to fix the issue while on the phone with me. The only downside for us was the steep roads getting to the cabin itself. I did not realize how high we would be so our vehicle struggled some but that is on me not the host. Overall we loved the location and the cabin and would definitely book again.
If you’re looking for a cabin that has it all, this is it! The location is off the spur, so you are in between both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! The cabin itself has everything. It’s very clean, kitchen is well stocked, and the beds are sleep number… so that makes everyone comfortable For entertainment, it has a pool table and arcade games. It even has a hot tub to relax in!!! We’ve been going there for years and love it. We will continue to use them

Slidding on a Windy Road
Nice Cabin and clean! The road going to cabin is a winding up and down scary road. Even with 4WD during a snowstorm we were slip and sliding. My husband's PTSD of being trapped kicked in once at cabin which is downhill. We had to leave and go home due to stress and anxiety. Family that we were meeting in Pigeon Forge went by at 12PM next day and still not plowed. Otherwise beautiful decor and plenty of supplies!
If we could give more than 5 stars we would. This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean, well decorated, and had all the amenities we could need and then some. We loved the deck with the hot tub, the fireplace, smart tv's with youtube tv provided, sleep number beds, pool table and arcade games, washer & dryer, and the kitchen full of dishes and appliances. The location of the cabin was perfect. It's right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge; about a 15 minute drive to either location. We appreciated the communication from the owners, their directions to the cabin which were better than what GPS gave, and the ease of check in and out. This was our 1st time staying at a cabin in the mountains. We will definitely do this again and would definitely stay at this cabin again!
, sleep number beds,
My mom and I wanted a cabin in the mountains and this was it. And it was conveniently located between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg for any exploring that we wanted to do. We were happy to have amazingly warm weather because the drive up there could be dicey if there’s snow!! It was a very quiet and peaceful spot.
We chose this cabin for a short get away. I had never been to Pidgeon Forge or Gatlinburg, so it was an adventure. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, & clean. The owners were happy to communicate if there were any issues or needs. We enjoyed our stay & if we ever visit the area again we will be repeat renters.
The property was clean, nice decor, good location and all rooms have nice size, current model tv's. We all enjoyed the property. Owner responded quick to problem!
This cabin is perfect for 2-4 people. It was definitely the cleanest one we've stayed at over the years. Also, everything was functional including the hot tub!! The owner checked in with us via text the night of arrival to make sure everything was ok. The drive up and down the road was a bit scary for my wife but otherwise 5 Stars. We'll try to reserve again on our next trip.
Loved the cabin for our family and furbaby. Beautiful location convenient to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Hot tub was awesome and beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck drinking our morning coffee and even saw some bears. Communication with Barry was excellent and we will definitely book again.
The property description was very accurate and it was a gorgeous stay. We have previously stayed in the Wildwood Forest area so we had knowledge of the roads but I appreciated their direction to use Gumstand Road instead of the other route. It’s perfectly situated between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and I’d recommend to anyone that they stay here if they’re coming to town. Everything’s about 10-15 minutes away. They communicated with me before we arrived and let me know we could check in before our planned time of 3pm due to no one else being at the property. After a long drive from Ohio we were incredibly appreciative of this. They also communicated with me once we arrived and let us know they were there to help if we needed anything. We are very pleased with our stay and the amenities on the property such as the hot tub, sleep number beds (so comfy!), giant windows, pool table, arcade games, and tvs in the living room and each bedroom. Loved every minute of it!

This was a last minute Anniversary Spring Break Stay! It was AWESOME! We would definitely stay again. Relaxing!
My family loved staying at this Cabin! It was beautifully decorated throughout for Christmas, and was very clean and maintained. It was peaceful & relaxing staying here. Our family made some great memories together and we will definitely be back!
Clean, comfortable, well appointed and cared for cabin between Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge just off Parkway. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. This was a relaxing Thanksgiving retreat and the host was attentive to our needs. I would go back!
Great little cabin. Was already decorated for the holidays and will always refer to as the Hallmark Christmas Cabin. Located in a Hallow with many other cabins around and all the other cabin lights make it look like a fairy village.

About the host
Hosted by Angie and Barry Broadwell
We purchased this cabin in October of 2015 because we love to visit the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountains area. This way we have a place of our own to stay when we come to the area and also allow it to be enjoyed by others.
Why they chose this property
When we purchased this cabin in October of 2015 it was in a great need of some TLC both inside and out. We have invested a lot over the last four years in improvement to both the exterior and the interior furnishings, including stainless steel appliances, ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen and downstairs bath, new counter tops in kitchen and both bathrooms, new furniture in both bedrooms and the living room and new Sleep Number mattresses in February 2021, new Trex outdoor furniture in November 2020 and a new hot tub in the summer of 2019.
What makes this property unique
We love coming to Rambler's Rest Cabin just for the rest, relaxation and peacefulness of the forest. Sitting in the hot tub on a cold winter's night and looking up at the stars. Or the occasional bear sighting or wild turkey often seen in the area while taking a walk on the dead-end private road through Wildwood Forest. When we first purchased the cabin we allowed the cabin management company that was managing it to continue until now we have decided to place it on VRBO and manage it ourselves making it more affordable so that many will be able to enjoy it just like we have.
