Quiet end

Loved it being on the far west end and how quiet it was. No parking space issues. Short easy walk to the beach. Restaurants and grocery stores within minutes of the condo. The air conditioning was AMAZING and so was the water pressure.

Hidden gem, however make sure vacasa is clear

Love these condos, been going for decades. However, this time there was heavy construction that we were not told about. We also had workers on our balcony unannounced and issues with our air.

'Three Little Birds'

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The unit amenities, access to the beach and pool as well as many choices for dining out were all A++. Would love to return again at some future date. And liked the 'three little birds' on the living room wall... Recommend !

Decent stay

We (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed for 7 nights over New Years. The building seemed like an older building and could have used more lighting outside. It was well kept but not spectacular. The unit opened to the outside world, think motel style. There were no elevators (which we knew ahead of time) and the stairs seemed steep but we managed just fine. Parking was very close and convenient, but the lot is extremely small. The keyless entry was nice and convenient as it allowed for contactless check in. Check in was smooth and it was nice they allowed for a slightly early check in time. The door only had the one punch-code lock. It would have been safer if there was a deadbolt in addition to the punch code lock. At night we always stuck something in front of the door, just didn’t feel safe knowing anyone with the code could come in at any time. (Handyman, etc). The building is situated right there, ocean front. Excellent location. The pool was at a great temperature and the hot tub was hot. Plenty of lawn chairs. Convenient beach access. The view from the condo was great. The balcony was nice. The bedroom was sufficient. King bed was so so, not the most comfortable but not awful either. Plenty of luggage space and a couple luggage racks. A few games were on the shelf for families to play. The master bath was very small. The shower curtain was awful. They Really need to purchase a smaller curtain that is meant for a that type of shower. While the shower head was good for me (5’5”), it was too low for my husband and not the adjustable type. We never ran out of hot water. They provided an ample amount of bath towels. There is a small size washer/dryer in the unit. It’s small and always used hot water despite setting it to cold. The dryer took forever but does eventually dry. None the less it helped us manage for the week. The bunk bed was convenient for our child. It’s not quite a twin size but worked well for our smaller 13 year old. The kitchen was nice and had most everything we needed. The living room/dining room was nice. Great views. Nice non-carpeting flooring throughout. The place was updated, felt worn but clean. The second bath was average. The tub seemed sandy and worn. The toilet flushed slow but worked. Absolutely zero bugs (we check every time!) sheets appeared clean. The ONE huge negative we experienced is during the middle of the night the thermostat made a very loud repetitive tik tok tik tok noise over and over again. It said low battery. We changed the battery with no luck getting the noise to stop. Then the AC stopped. My 2 biggest things in a hotel:condo are cleanliness and temperature control. So I was extremely annoyed that our condo was 75 and climbing when I prefer 68. We called Vacasa at 2am and they were of no immediate help. They sent someone the next afternoon who was of no help. They sent a second person who fixed it! Hallelujah!! My rating does not reflect the miserableness of going one night with the loud noise and hot air. Because they fixed it quickly I took the negative connotation out of my review. I would stay again because I think our price was on point with what we received.

Perfect set up

This unit was great. The view is amazing! We were able to see dolphins in the morning. From the balcony. We really enjoyed being able to walk right down to the pool and be on the beach. We didn’t have to lug a cooler or worry if the kids needed to run up to the condo real quick. The location is really perfect. The beach also wasn’t crowded. The condo itself was clean and nicely updated features. The only thing we didn’t love was the bed in the master. It was very firm. We like a firm bed but it could use a pillow topper. Overall, this is a great spot in Sunnyside!

A pleasant surprise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past weekend. The condo is very nicely appointed and the view of the gulf is the icing on the cake. Although I will stick with my five stars I must say the king bed was not comfortable. Either the mattress should be turned or a new one invested in. All in all the weekend was superb!
