Ladderville Guest house sits behind Ladderville main house. This beautiful property on "old" Saint Teresa beach sits on a bluff overlooking the Gulf and Alligator Point Bay. It's peaceful location is the perfect place to relax, enjoy family and friends, and let the surroundings restore you. Enjoy a glass of sweet tea while watching the sunset with a small ocean view from the front porch, complete with rocking chairs, comfortable outdoor sofa, and a 4 person dining table. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom guest house sleeps 4-6, one bedroom is downstairs and has a queen size bed and in-room sink, the one bathroom on this floor is just outside of this bedroom. The other two bedrooms are upstairs, one has a queen size bed and the other has a king size, both rooms have an in-room sink, armoire for closet space, and a window unit to boost the heating and air system. These two rooms share the bathroom at the top of the stairs. This property has Dish network, but does not have WIFI at this moment. BYOP- Fishing poles you see in pictures are not available with rental. Come stay a while and see all that the forgotten coast has to offer.

This property has a 3 night minimum for April and May & 7 night minimum with a Saturday-Saturday booking from June 1st- September 30th.

Various activities are available including Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, birding, cycling paths across the road and guided boat tours at Wakulla Springs. Family weekend

We absolutely loved our stay. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place and was exactly as described in pics. One thing to mention is the coffee maker does leak significantly. Overall, it was the perfect place for our family and we hope to be able stay again one day.

Wonderful location, beautiful home with a few quirks. A heads up on cell service/no wifi -- we weren't prepared for essentially zero service at the house, though the true escape from reality was nice!

Peaceful & Serene Private Beach w/ Dock

Great location for anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing beach getaway, and the fishing was amazing off the dock for anyone that likes to fish. We will definitely come back again!

Great location at St. Teresa - beautiful setting!

My wife and I had a nice relaxed low-key weekend, which was exactly what we were looking for. The house is immaculate and very well built (I am and architect). We did not do any cooking there, but the kitchen was seemingly well equipped. No one was at the Big House so we had the grounds to ourselves. Would stay again.

Best Winter Break

Ladderville was a wonderful 2 months for us! 4 of us stayed the entire time, family members visited 2x for a short time. LOVED the screened in Lanai! LOVED the beach! It's in close proximity to so many fun places for adventure and food! Thank you!

Delightful getaway

St T is a magical place, and this guest house lets you enjoy the magic. Well appointed, comfortable home with a wonderful screened porch located behind the main house with easy access to the beach.

We rented this place for the month of October. We arrived one day late as I was not feeling well. We spent one night and I was so ill I was taken to Shands via ambulance. I was having a life-threatening response to an IV antibiotic. My husband had to carry me down the steps. We called the realtor twice and never received a return call. Finally, my husband tried again and got l real person.

"Charming with Quarks & Perks"

This Beautiful Old Floridian House has it "Quarks & Perks". Our 2 month stay was Very Venturesome:) The Majestic Mossy Oaks with Singing Song Birds with Stunning Views Of the Flowering Bushes from the Screen Porch was Delightful:) Directly in front of the this Guest house is the Main House with Glimpses of the Water and Blue Sky on each side. A Stroll next to Main house thru Gate to beach is about 150 yards. The Snowwhite Beach Sand with the Brackish Waters and Alot of Interesting Washed Up Sea Weeds & Creatures is Spectacular:) And Very Unique High & Low Tides and When the Tide is Out you can walk the Sands & Shores for Hours. Look Out for Starfish & Jelllyfish of Kinds but might See a Dolphin or Even a Manatee:) The Locals Say;: "Always Shuffle Feet for the Stingrays and Watch for the Sharks!. We did most of Our Fishing and Playing in the Water at St. George Island:) And All Our Shelling At Alligator Point:) We Met the Friendly Owners on their Weekly Vacations in the Main House & One week he brought his 3 Big Beautiful Lab Dogs. But at First Meeting they Growled & Barked keeping us from leaving house but after a few days were Friendly & Fun:) One day there was 5 dogs Running Around House it was Like Living In a Kennel since house is fenced in:) Look out for Poopy Doggie Land Mines:) Stepped in Barefoot coming back from Beach. Good thing there is a Garden hose and an Out side shower:) There is Only One Small TV but Good Direct tv:) There is no privacy blinds in living areas but all Bedrooms have Beautiful bamboo shades:) Water for showers was Always Hot but did leave a Sulfur Smell:( And the Most Comfortable Bed with our memory foam pad was the queen upstairs, the king is 2 twins and the Charming Antique Bed downstairs Shakes & Squeaks:) We did experience a Gnat hatch around the 2nd week of march. They did not bite were just a Little Pesty:) Hung around sinks and baths anywhere there was water, Fly strips worked well:) The Kitchen was Very Functional since due to Covid we cooked alot of home meals:) Didnt See any Bears always kept gate locked since they like to rummage in garbage cans:) Driveway is like driving into the backwoods alot of ruts and mud puddles after rain we always drove with care:) 'Overall We Loved the Natural Rustic Beach" From it's Unique Unusual Sea Creatures like the Horseshoe Crabs to the Crazy Ugly Sea Squirts"... "Thank You Sandy Beach Properties for Being So Accommodating, Professional & Attentive:)

So peaceful during the week

Wish we had signed the guestbook but it was a wonderful stay. Very peaceful & quiet during the week -- closer to the weekend the neighbors appeared & they were all friendly. Great location to jump over to Apalachicola or back up the Ochlocknee.

Refresh and Rejuvenate

Such a lovely home with breathtaking views. We enjoyed time sitting under the trees listening to the gentle waves and just relaxing. Our day trips we also wonderful. We rented a pontoon from Gunner’s in Carrabelle. We took the boat ride at Wakulla Springs as suggested by neighbor, Mr. Lang. We visited the lighthouse at St. Marks Island - also Mr. Lang’s recommendation. If you’re not familiar with the area, I would recommend stopping at the grocery store in Crawfordville on your way in. It was a perfect week of relaxation, rejuvenation, and time to unwind.

70th Birthday Celebration

Siblings and cousins of the guests in the neighboring house enjoyed staying in the guest house cottage for a birthday celebration for the family members having summer milestones!! The guest house was perfect for a quiet place to relax and retreat from the three kids next door in the main house! The furnishings and equipment provided in the kitchen and house were wonderfully convenient.

St Theresa beach paradise

My family loved our getaway to St. Theresa! The beach was quiet sometimes just us. We brought our paddleboard and kayak so we had hours of enjoyment exploring the ocean. We also enjoyed a day trip exploring Wakulla Springs area. Loved every moment!

Great week at the Ladderville Guest House!

Location is perfect on old st Teresa. Kids loved jumping off the end of the pier and hunting for sea treasures at low tide. Only downfall was the dryer being broken all week. Otherwise, perfect vacay on the “forgotten coast”!

Wonderful place for relaxing getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ladderville Guest House. In spite of the CoVID-19 issues in Florida, because this house is in a remote beach community we felt safe during our stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, coffee on the screened porch in the morning was special, and the beach was right close by!! Our son-in-law’s family has a house close by, so we were able to spend time with them and then retreat to our own space for quiet time and to sleep. The only downside for some people would be no WIFI. We had good cell service so were OK without it.
