I viewed many properties in Marina Vallarta and selected Bay View Grand (BVG) because it has the most beautiful gardens, largest infinity pools of which 2 are kiddy pools, and was the only property that had pool side service where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner and a variety of spirits to select from. BVG has newer tennis courts and a full size gym with lots of equipment on the property.

My condo is located in building B which has the most desirable views in Bay View Grand. From the back patio, you will see the Bay of Banderas, downtown Puerto Vallarta (PV) referred to as Centro and Old Town and the mountains surrounding the city. Each evening we see the fireworks, the city lights and the cruise ships. My condo gets the morning sun so in the afternoon and evening you can enjoy entertaining on the back patio as you do not have the sun rays beating down on you (as you would in other buildings of BVG).

You can walk to 2 shopping centers from BVG which is Marina Plaza and all the shops and restaurants of the Marina. And the Marriott and Westin Hotels are about 10-15 minute walk with shopping and restaurants.

An Amazing Location on the Beach

So happy to rent at Bay View Grand one of the best properties in Puerto Vallarta. A two bedroom condo with all the amenities needed for a great vacation.

Great Condo

We enjoyed our stay Theresa's condo at the Bay View Grand.Here is what we liked:1. Location is great, with huge pools. You can choose between a heated pool and a cooler one if you want to do laps.2. Good beach - for PV standards. Don't expect white sand all the way into the water - if you want that you'll need to go to the Caribbean :)3. The condo is well equipped, esp. the kitchen. Enough plates and flatware so you don't need to wash the dishes after each meal. And a gas cooktop - works a lot faster than the usual combination of an electric stove and pots that are uneven on the bottom. And there even is a griddle for grilling!4. Great view of the town and Banderas Bay from the balcony.5. Theresa's local representative (Diana) is very nice and speaks English very well. Our flight home was at 6pm, she let us check out at 3pm, so we had almost an extra day to enjoy the sun.6. BVG is all private condos, which means there are NO time share salespeople!Something to be aware of:The condo is next to the airport, which is not a big problem for the master bedroom that faces the ocean. But the second bedroom gets the noise from starting airplanes (first at 6:15AM, last at 11:15PM).

What a wonderful vacation!!

Theresa is an amazing host. Our first PV trip ever and we had a blast. We stayed for a week and super sad to leave. The condo is super nice, quite and everyone was super nice. We are definitely going to come back and stay there again for sure. The best strip ever!! Thank you Theresa!! Ps. Diana who greeted us there was also super sweet and kind lady. We love her and hope to see her again soon!!

Amazing property & care!

This Bay View Grand unit is fantastic. Have stayed at BVG before and this unit is one if the nicest - all updated everything. Coordinating arrival/departure was flawless and we felt very taken care of. Owner went above & beyond! We will be staying there again.

Quiet, Relaxing Time in Puerto Vallarta

Swimming, reading, working out in the gym, shopping and going out to eat made this a memorable vacation for a retired Canadian couple.

This property was nothing short of spectacular! The condo is newly renovated and beautiful!

I will be staying here again for sure! The sprawling patio was awesome for morning coffee, afternoon siestas and evening card games with my kids. Lovely breezes through the spacious condo meant we slept with our doors open and the gentle ocean noises were perfect.. The pool area is large and we never had difficulty finding loungers. The location of this property is perfect, away from the chaos of the party resorts and the beach was large and kept very well. Theresa is very thorough with her rental agreement which made me feel safe and was at our disposal whenever we had questions. Diana was lovely and took great care of us too! Can’t wait until I can go back.

Perfect Low Key Condo, with fantastic pools, immaculate grounds, and a wonderful beach and views!

The basics, such as pool, beach, views, etc. are spot on. So very wonderful. The beds, sheets, and comforters aren't the greatest. Would be great if there was a fan in 2nd room. Kitchen wasn't fancy, but it was well equipped. We were worried about not being able to use the A/C, but the cross-wind really does wonders. Hot tub on the balcony was cool, but unfortunately the hot water heater couldn't heat up that much h2o, so it ended up not being used too much. Kids liked it nonetheless. Nice patio furniture. Felt very safe, and enjoyed the great many employees that helped us this week.
