About this property

Bryzel is a pet friendly, private two bedroomed house that adjoins the owners property. Constructed in stone and granite and renovated in 2015 now provides 66m² of accommodation that sleeps 4 people. It is situated in Pleneuf Val Andre in the Cotes d’armor on the North Brittany coast in a countryside hamlet about 1 km from the centre of Pleneuf and around 2 km from the nearest beach.

On the ground floor there is a utility room with a toilet, lounge area and fitted kitchen. Upstairs there is a shower room and two good sized bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. A good sized south-facing garden is at the front of the house solely for your use.

The lounge has a 3 seater sofa and 2 armchairs, TV/DVD. A selection of games and DVD's are available to borrow. The fully equipped kitchen has a table and chairs for 4 people, gas cooker, fridge with an ice box, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher. The Utility room houses the dishwasher together with the iron, ironing board, fire blanket and clothes airer.

Upstairs In the double bedroom there is a 140cm wide bed with 2 bedside tables and lights, a triple wardrobe with full length mirror and a hair dryer. The twin bedroom has two Italian 90cm wide beds suitable for adults as well as children. There is a bedside table, 2 bedside lights, love seat, chair, double wardrobe and hair dryer. The shower room has a 90cm x 90cm shower cubicle, toilet, wash hand basin, mirror, cabinet, two lights and shaver/hair dryer point.

Outside there is a private south facing garden fully enclosed and secure for children and animals. There are tables, chairs, parasol, deck chairs and BBQ.
You can park just opposite the house. There are some garden games.

Agréable séjour

La location est bien équipée et vraiment propre. On est à 10 minutes en vélo de la plage. Un petit bémol pour la télévision qui mériterait d'être un peu plus grande notamment pour regarder les informations. Les propriétaires qui sont mitoyens sont très respectueux et discrets

La maison est très agréable, avec une jolie décoration, d'une grande propreté et dans l'ensemble bien équipée (avec une réserve tenant à l'absence de machine à laver le linge). Grande discrétion et agréable accueil du propriétaire, très serviable.

Une belle semaine

Le cottage est très calme, proche de Val André et de la mer. Nos hôtes habitent juste derrière et sont disponibles si besoin. 2 vélos sont mis à disposition.

schönes Haus - gute Lage

wir haben hier in dieser schönen Gegend eine Woche Urlaub verbracht. Es gibt einen tollen Strand in der Nähe, die gesamte Küste ist toll zum Wandern. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits von Ort und Geschäften, mit dem Auto kein Problem. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und liegt angenehm ruhig. Das Untergeschoss ist etwas ungemütlich, das Badezimmer etwas einfach, aber in Ordnung. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr schön. Es ungewöhnlich ist die zu zahlende Kaution - hier unbedingt auf eine gemeinsame Begehung zu Beginn und zum Ende der Buchung bestehen. So spart man sich Ärger, wir haben es leider verpennt ... Great Holiday!

Perfect!

Homely and comfortable with everything you need. Well situated, very clean and fully equipped. The beds were comfortable and it was really great that the bed linen and towels were provided for free. Would recommend.

Großartig!

Im Juli/August verbrachten wir zwei wundervolle Wochen mit unseren beiden Kindern bei Dave und Lynda. Das Haus ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es fehlt an nichts und bei Fragen waren Dave und Lynda immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns dort sofort wohl und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das man Bettwäsche und Handtücher nicht mitnehmen muss empfinde ich noch als zusätzlichen Pluspunkt, das spart einen ganzen Koffer! Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und man kann von Pléneuf aus viele Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung machen. Der Strand ist wunderschön, riesengroß und daher nicht zu voll. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Urlaub und wir kommen im nächsten Jahr garantiert wieder!

Idyllic

We stayed for three weeks and could have happily stayed longer. The house is perfectly located for an exploration of this beautiful part of Brittany. We were able to cater for ourselves or eat out as we wished and we enjoyed the local restaurants where staff are exceptionally friendly. Dave and Lynda were on hand to answer questions; they were very helpful, friendly and discreet. It was our first time travelling with our dog and turned out to be a great success. She was made welcome by our hosts, the next-door neighbour, on the beaches and everywhere we went, and gave rise to many conversations with local people. Everything is on hand, from supermarkets to a typical café tabac five minutes away. At the same time, the house is close to stunning wild coastal walks where you can enjoy unspoilt nature, and if you look up the tide times, you can walk across the causeway to a tiny version of Mont Saint Michel, the Îlot Saint-Michel. We also discovered the beautiful medieval town of Moncontour where you can have coffee on a terrace built into the ancient walls. It would be difficult to improve on this trip!

Schöne Zeit

Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Wir hatte eine schöne Zeit in dem Häuschen und wir können nur gutes berichten. Es ist in dem Haus alles vorhanden was benötigt wird und das Ganze auf 2 Etagen. Ansonsten kann ich mich den vorangegangen Bewertungen nur anschließen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Kurz gesagt: schönes Haus - wunderbare Gegend - gute Erholung - sehr netter Vermieter

Be Warned!

The cottage is lovely, very clean and well maintained, (that's why we chose it) but be warned!! We stayed for 1 week with our 2 dogs and a total of 4 adults. On leaving we cleaned out the fridge, cleaned the cooker/ BBQ etc, swept the downstairs floors, (we only allowed the dogs downstairs) as we wanted to remove dog hairs, and generally left the property in a good state. We fully expected the owner to be happy with all of this but NO! He retained a third of our deposit saying that the cottage needed extra cleaning time as we had left it in bad state, saying that the towels were very dirty (only one small bath towel per person for the week). Yes the towels were dirty as they were very well used, but that is no reason to withhold our deposit, a second supply of towels should be provided to ensure they're not so well used. He also said there were marks on the walls, we absolutely dispute this as we saw no evidence of this and no proof was provided before he took our money! We were aware of marks on the first step of the staircase, but that that wasn't due to our being there, we only did what any person would do when walking up the stairs?? Perhaps the varnish wasn't satisfactory?? We felt sullied by the remarks from the owner and now have a very bad view of the holiday, we live in a beautiful Georgian home which is immaculate both inside and out, I run a professional domestic cleaning company and am responsible for many prestigious homes, and would only ever respect a persons property. We are now going through the claim system to retrieve our full deposit, which is not how we wanted to end our holiday! So be warned!

Wunderschöne Bretagne

Bretagne .... traumhaft schön. Das Haus von Dave und Linda ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Hier kann man sich sehr wohl fühlen. Manchmal stört die Straße, die direkt am Haus vorbei führt, aber das ist eher nebensächlich. Der Vermieter hat uns überaus nett und freundlich empfangen. Die Gegend eignet sich hervorragend für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Pleneuf ist ein schönes Städtchen, das schnell zu erreichen ist. Aber auch andere Ziele an der Nordküste der Bretagne sind gut zu erreichen und man kann wunderschöne Wanderungen entlang der Küste unternehmen. Hierhin kommen wir gerne wieder zurück.

Ein Paradies auf Erden 2017

Im letzten Jahr war ich mit meinen zwei Kindern (jetzt 15 Jahre) in Pleneuf bei Dave und Lynda. Ich habe letztes Jahr gesagt, dass ich wiederkommen möchte und das haben wir auch gemacht. Eigentlich muss ich meiner Bewertung von 2016 nichts mehr hinzufügen oder revidieren. Ein rundum erholsamer Urlaub. Auch meine beiden Kids haben sich wohlgefühlt und möchten genau wie ich auch im nächsten Jahr wieder in Pleneuf bei Dave und Lynda unsere Ferien verbringen. Für uns drei war es wie nach Hause zu kommen. Beate

Está bien situada cerca un nudo de carreteras, la casa está bien decorada con un delicioso jardín.

14 Tage Erholung pur !!!!

Im Juli verbrachten wir zwei traumhaft schöne, erholsame Wochen mit unseren zwei Kindern und unserem Hund in diesem gemütlichen, liebevoll eingerichtetem Haus. Es fehlte an nichts, sogar ein Grill für gemütlichen Grillabende war vorhanden. Dank des kleinen, ummauerten Innenhofes konnten wir vier und unser Hund die ruhigen Abende sehr entspannt genießen. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Lynda und Dave, die es uns mit ihrer freundlichen und herzlichen Art einfach gemacht haben, uns einzuleben. Für uns waren es zwei unvergessliche Wochen, und wir können das Haus nur jedem weiter empfehlen. Gerne würden wir noch einmal wiederkommen. Katja. Markus, Jana, Ben und Frieda

Ein Paradies auf Erden

Ich war für eine Woche mit meinen Zwillingen (14 Jahre) in diesem Ferienhaus. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von den Vermietern empfangen und wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, es fehlte an nichts. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, man findet alles was man benötigt. In der oberen Etage sind die Schlafzimmer, auch hier ist alles gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Geschlafen haben wir sehr, sehr gut. Auch das Badezimmer in der ersten Etage mit Dusche ist groß genug. Sehr angenehm empfand ich auch, dass ich keine Handtücher und Bettwäsche mitnehmen musste. In dieser Woche bin ich keinmal mit dem Auto gefahren, wir haben alles zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus erreichen können. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich für diesen Urlaub 10 Sterne geben. Gerne würden wir nächstes Jahr wieder dort unseren Urlaub verbringen. Beate

Wohlfühlen in der Ferne - ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Feriendomizil in herrlicher Lage

Wir wurden von den sehr freundlichen Ferienhaus-Eigentümern, die direkt nebenan im anderen Teil des Doppelhauses wohnen, herzlich willkommen geheißen. Zum Ferienhaus gehört ein eigener und sehr gemütlicher kleiner Innenhof mit Kiesschüttung und Hortensien-Hecke und Sitzgruppe. Das Haus selbst ist gut, liebevoll und übersichtlich eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber, da gab es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Es gibt ausreichend Stauraum für das Gepäck der Feriengäste - auch zahlreiche Wand- und Türhaken, die man in anderen Unterkünften ja häufig vergeblich sucht. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in einer kleinen Siedlung direkt am Feldrand. Man kann direkt vom Tor des Innenhofes aus herrliche Spaziergänge in die wunderschöne Natur starten. Aber auch das Zentrum von Pleneuf ist zu Fuß in knapp 15 Minuten zu erreichen - ein schöner und bequemer Gang. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß ca. 20 - 25 Minuten - auch da gibt es verschiedene Strecken zu unterschiedlichen Stränden. Das Ferienhaus werden wir auch Freunden und Familie empfehlen - und wir selbst kommen gerne auch wieder dorthin zurück!
