Secluded home nestled in the forest on 5 spacious acres among huge Ponderosa Pine trees. Plenty of entertainment for the entire family, and includes a beautiful deck and outdoor patio with a gas fire-pit , and a gas grill for entertaining all your guests. Dog friendly with a fully fenced yard able to contain medium sized dogs and larger. Elk and wildlife frequent the property and neighborhood, with plenty of hiking trails and a nearby stream/waterfall for the outdoor enthusiast. Great vacation home for individuals or families with kids, and can accommodate several families comfortably without tripping over one another. Enjoy all Flagstaff and the northern Arizona area has to offer as the south rim of the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Petrified forest, Sunset Crater, Lake Powell, and other Arizona highlights are all within a 2 hour drive from the property, making it the perfect stepping off point to explore these Arizona wonders. When you're on the property you'll feel as though you're deep in the woods, but the property is just 10 minutes from the Flagstaff Mall, Harkins movie theaters, and other east-side Flagstaff restaurants and just 15 Miles to Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort and Northern Arizona University. The home has 3,600 total Sq. Feet - 1,800 up top with 3 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, and the basement has an additional 1,800 Sq. ft and is the perfect retreat for the kids. The Basement Rec room has a Foosball table, Big Screen TV, Electronic darts and plug-ins for streaming devices or video gaming systems to keep everyone entertained. The basement also contains the 4th bedroom, which, with its queen sized bed and Twin/Full bunk beds is perfect for a small family.

Spring Break

Property was perfect for a couple of families wanting to escape the Phoenix-area heat for a relaxing spring break. Large property meant no neighbors right next door. Good location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but not too far for a drive into town for a meal. House had all of the amenities we were looking for and the owner communicated well. We will likely be back in the future.

We loved our stay!

The property was exactly how it was in the pictures. Location was quiet with lots of space to enjoy the outdoors. We have two boys who enjoyed running around exploring. We have a little trouble with our rental van getting stuck in the snow and Mike was so great to get us the help we needed. He was so responsive leading up to our stay as well. The house was clean, cozy, and had so many things to keep us entertained. We loved our stay!

Flagstaff stay

We had a good time with family however some issues we had at the house. Fireplace only worked for looks heat on it didn’t work. It’s also placed on 1x4 pieces of stacked wood seem very tacky. Dryer would shut off every 5 min had to take the lint filter out ( which was cleaned) and clean in that compartment as much as I could to unclog more lint. It worked for a couple drys. The house was surfaced cleaned but not deep cleaned. Very dirty and dusty behind stuff under beds and couches which was noticeable. Horse shoes outside was broken and we didn’t seem like we were on 5 acres. There were houses directly behind us and to the side which we could see. We wish the hot tub that was on the side of the house worked but it wasn’t on the listing we know. Overall we had fun it’s just disheartening to pay so much money for things that don’t work and not clean. Owner always answered messages however with our issues he only offered for the neighbor to come over and look.

Family getaway

Such a beautiful home. Our family of five, plus dog stayed here for a few days. Property in the pines, yet so close to everything you’d need in case of anything. Safeway, Starbucks, dine in etc. Home was fully furnished for comfort, with all amenities necessary. We were able to enjoy the flagstaff snow park one day. So nice and convenient being so close to fun activities. Mike was a pleasure to work with, Great communication! Such an amazing family home to escape the heat, and to be able to bring your fur baby.

Great cabin

Cabin had a beautiful huge fenced in yard! My dog had the time of her life!! The kids loved the games. Very comfortable beds! Host was very responsive. Check in and check out were easy. We will definitely come back.

Amazing for family and dogs

We are family with three large dogs and always have a foster dog so it’s difficult to find a property that is not only pet friendly without a weight limit but also completely fenced in with this amount of land. We had the most amazing time without having to worry about keeping the dogs on leash. Elk visit daily also! I am a stickler about cleanliness and everything was very clean! The beds were incredibly comfortable also! The scenery is beautiful. The neighbors are great and it is fully stocked with everything you need. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions and we love that they welcomed ALL our dogs with open arms. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but just minutes away from lots of shopping areas, including grocery stores. we cannot wait to book again!

Great property!

We came here for the NAU family weekend. The stay was perfect! Mike was very attentive and had great insight on the area. The property itself was a family dream! Lots of activities in the home and plenty of room outside to roam. Check in and out was a breeze. Location was great. Only about 10 minutes to campus. I would highly recommend this property!

Peaceful Home in Quiet Location

My husband and I stayed in this home for 4 nights. While the home is larger than we needed for just the two of us, we appreciated having plenty of room to relax and unwind on our trip. This home would be a great fit for a family. There is a game room in the basement and plenty of room for kids to run around outside. We had hoped to use the outdoor space more during our stay, but it was pretty windy during our trip. We utilized the front bedroom with a King bed and en suite bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We cooked breakfast every morning. The kitchen had everything we needed and was set up to make finding items quick and easy. This home has a washer and dryer and we really appreciated being able to wash a couple of loads during our stay to cut down on the laundry when we got back home. We were given plenty of information about the property and easy-to-follow instructions on the check-in and check-out processes. The owners also provided a great restaurant recommendation - Fat Olive's. The food was so good we're already talking about when we can get back to Flagstaff! We highly recommend this property. This was our first VRBO experience and it couldn't have been better!

Wonderful Property

We had the most relaxing time. We loved waking up and having coffee on the deck or down below surrounded by the pines and hummingbirds. The house is very comfortable and clean. Our pups and us couldn't have been happier. Will definitely return!

Perfection in Flagstaff area!

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful location and had an absolute blast! Grandkids (8, 10 & 13) were never at a loss for things to do. The basement game room was a definite hit when not outside adventuring. Property is conveniently located for exploring entire Flagstaff area. All was exceptional...host, accommodations, location,,,it could not have been more perfect! We're already planning a return trip!

Awesome week in Flagstaff

This home worked so well for our family and a couple extra friends of the kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and the property had a large lot to explore. It was a great location for a trip to the Grand Canyon and other fun activities in Flagstaff. We all really enjoyed the Extreme Obstacle Course at Fort Tuthill and even had one of the teenagers complete the course. Also kayaking on Lake Mary and the Laser Tag and Ax Throwing venue were a hit for everyone. Just hanging out on the spacious back deck was a relaxing way to begin and end our day. Highly recommend this rental for your next trip to Flagstaff.

Peaceful Escape

The house is situated among pines in a quiet neighborhood; yet, the convenience of a store is not far away. We enjoyed spending time in the backyard, playing horshoes & cornhole during the day then dining on the huge back deck & finishing off the day gathered around the fire pit. We'll be back!

Quiet neighborhood close to things

There was lots of patio seating perfect for a large group to be able to eat meals outside and listen to the wind in the pines and enjoy the cool air of high elevation. Good beds and tvs in every bedroom. Great launching point to see things 1-2 hours away like the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Sunset Volcano.
