I’d love to say nothing but bad things to keep everyone away from my little gem, but I can’t lie. This was the perfect get away location for my family of 5 and dog. We had such an easy time from check in to check out that we’re planning to stay again come spring time. If you want a quaint lodge to stay with all necessities, this is it. Thank you so much for a great time.

Great spot and the management workers were very professional and nice! I’ll book with them again!
Great small house as described. No problems updated kitchen and bathrooms. Nice place especially with the fireplace going. Would definitely book again.
The property is a great location, perfect size for staying with the family, skiing and sleeping. Looks like there are renovations going to happen and I can't wait to see it when they are done.
Hair on sheets possibly not cleaned. Everything else was great just slept on top of beds. Check out process is a mystery just left keys on kitchen table.
Litany of issues. For starters after booking the pet friendly property the owner contacted us about a 130 dollar undisclosed pet fee. Next we got to the property very late ...... it was easy enough to find and locate. Immediately noticed that the property was dingy and upstairs was notably dusty. Carpet and the paneled walls downstairs show obvious signs of extreme water damage at some point as the carpet is discolored to the point of being various shades of greyish brown compared to the original maroon and water damage at the base of the wall paneling runs about 1.5 inches up the wall. Tried to go to get a bowl of water for the dogs from the sink to discover that the house had no water! cell service is spotty so we couldnt call the manager. we gave up and waited to the morning to go their office instead of driving 30 minutes around the mountain at 12:30 am. We went without any water the entire first night with them explaining that the maid must have forgot about the oversight. Luckily we had a extra bottle of water for the dogs and we didnt need to go to the bathroom. The beds like the house are presumably from the 70s and any movement results in them creaking all night. The small portable grill thats provided on the deck is rusted and unfit for use. all of these issues are made even more glaring because the property next door is same architectural style but has been updated within the last 20 years. The house is serviceable but you should set your expectations
The house itself was clean but a little dusty. The kitchen was stocked with the basics that we needed, which was nice to make easy meals in. The heater in the master bedroom wasn't working when we stayed so it got pretty cold in that room at night.

Okay stay in nice area
Fees and pricing were extremely high for what you get. Not using a lockbox or electronic lock means you have to stop by rental agency on the way in and out to get/ drop off the key. The mattresses and furnishings were not comfortable at all. The fireplace was unusable despite being described in the listing. The sign with the guns that says we don’t call 911 is hostile. New decking was nice with a wooded view. Overall it’s an overpriced okay property in a nice area of town and close to Beech Mountain Resort.

Reviewer Comments:
The exterior of the cabin is very cute, the interior was okay. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, there was a wire poking out of the box spring from a bed upstairs. The railing was wiggly. Dishes in the cupboard were not found clean, the pots provided are on the cheaper side anything we tried to cook stuck to pans. Spider webs everywhere, not enough lighting inside, no control over heater in the big bedroom along with the broken closet doors, ring of dust around the bathtub.
The heater worked in all bedrooms unlike stated in previous posts. It was perfect for our group of six. Close to Beech Mountain skiing. We all fit around table for food and games. We would stay again next visit!

Reviewer Comments:
The rental is in a great location not too far from everything, but far enough that you feel like you're away in the mountains. The house itself is clean, and the placement of everything is perfect. It was mostly comfortable with more than enough room for 4. The one drawback was the heater in the master bedroom was broken. And when I called the front office they said it just takes a long time to come on. So I waited, but the heater never came on. So my room was cold during our stay. But there did happen to be extra blankets in my room... If the heat had been fixed I would have given it five stars. All in all it was a good experience. I would recommend this property to a friend, but let them know about the master bedroom.

Reviewer Comments:
The rental process was super easy, and the home was the perfect size for our family. We loved the cabin feel. The newer stovetop design with the different-sized burners was great, but the 2 tiny pans were difficult to work with to do even a normal meal. It would have been better to have at least one larger pan for cooking. The house had everything else that we needed. The rental service was accommodating. The heater in the master BR was not working, but it was not an issue for us, since the rest of the heating in the house was sufficient. The rental folks offered to come immediately, but we declined since it wasn't a priority for us during our stay. We had a really nice stay, and wish it was longer! We will return if house is available.
