Me and my husband stayed here during our wedding!! It was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Owners were very easy to talk to and super helpful. Can’t wait to come on vacation here in the future!
I had a great vacation at this gorgeous cabin for a week. The area is beautiful to visit. The cabin was awesome! I happen to see both owners and they are very helpful. I had a very comfortable stay and felt right at home from the start. If you have a large family you can rent both cabins. The other cabin is right across from this one and you’ll be able to walk back and forth. It is very secluded from the road with lots of privacy. The cabin has everything you need. Just bring food and clothes!
The Chapel was a wonderful place to escape. Impeccably clean, and the owners thought of every little detail. Located close to wonderful hiking trails. We look forward to re-booking!
Our son got married at Taccoa Falls. We were looking for a property close to Taccoa and close enough to other hiking locations and Helen. This was perfectly between all three. Cabin is really well done, appliances and decor. Outdoor fireplace was great. Once we figured out the air conditioner, it cooled quickly and we were good. Would totally recommend this cabin!
We were drove up for my cousin's wedding and wanted to make a trip out of it. The cabin was perfect, it was equipped with everything you needed. Chrissy was great with communication and the instructions were very clear. The area was great, so many yummy eateries around. Before driving back home we did panthers creek which is at walking distance from the cabin and that was so worth it. Thank you!
We loved staying in this cabin. Right across the street from a great hiking trail and close to many trails and parks. The outdoor deck and fireplace were amazing and there was plenty of firewood. Highly recommend this place!
Really cute cottage in great condition. Well represented in the ad photos. There are 2 cottages on the same property. Luckily, we stayed during the week, so we had the whole place to ourselves. May have changed the vibe if the other cottage was occupied, though there is a decent distance between. Loved being able to bring the dog! Within walking distance to Panther Creek Trail. Loved the fireplaces and they had wood available for us. Plenty of room for 1 family or 2 couples, but not much "away space" if weather doesn't permit going outside. Upstair bedroom is a loft. They leave instructions, but you do need to crack a downstairs window if you use the fireplace. Otherwise, it will smoke the place out. We had lots of rain prior to and for 2 days of our stay, so it was really wet outside. We could smell septic in the back and in the half bath. But, that would be our only negative. We really enjoyed our stay! Great place and we would def go again!
Good location, easy to access, clean, and overall a good stay. A few things to note:
- This house uses mini splits for A/C. Both interior units have to be set the same for upstairs and downstairs or else they won’t work. There is no venting into the downstairs (master) bedroom. Closing the door at night while sleeping equals no A/C and it gets hot quickly.
- The closets, both upstairs and downstairs, have padlocks on them effectively leaving nowhere to hang any hanging clothes you may have brought with you. We were in the area for a wedding and had suits/dresses/etc and having nowhere to hang them was an inconvenience for sure.
My wife and I are seniors who enjoy exploring the North Georgia mountain area. The Chapel provided us with an ideal location to do just that.
The house itself is relatively new with top-of-the-line finishes and appliances. This is very much a cottage but with three bathrooms, two bedrooms and a spacious greatroom.
It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Firewood for the woodburning fireplace was free and there was plenty of it. An outdoor fireplace provided even more space for gathering and entertaining
We recommend The Chapel. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
We had a nice stay at this very lovely house. Centrally located among many scenic hikes as well as between Clayton and Helen. Literally right on top of Panther Creek Trail.
This was a beautiful cabin, secluded, but within close proximity to restaurants and the grocery store. There was nice hiking trails walking distance from the property! There was a small issue with the ac when we arrived but it was fixed right away! We would definitely stay here again!!!
One word to describe this property is “incredible”. My family and I enjoyed every aspect of this property. From the location to the “homey” feeling. I can not wait to come back and stay again!
We just left from our stay at the Chapel. Everything was just as pictures show. Extremely impressed with cleanliness! Communication with owner was also great. Great location with just a short drive to hikes, good food and Helen. Highly recommend for a stay that feels like home!
The Chapel cabin is exceptional. Chrissy did an amazing job designing this place & put so much thought into its comfort & luxury. I have stayed in many cabins, but The Chapel is by far the most phenomenal. It is centrally located to numerous attractions & areas of interest. Thank you for the perfect place to stay!
It was a great place to stay for the weekend! Great hiking very close by and some great places to eat in the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this beautiful stone cabin, for a couple or two couple getaway. Chrissy was great to work with!
Exactly what we were needing and looking for! So amazing... we have allergies & the property was clean comfortable & beautiful!!! Peaceful surroundings & lots to do in Helen or just walk to Panther Creek for nature hike!!
I loved the cabin and the amenities, It was relaxing and peaceful.

My family resides on a 30 acre farm just up the road, and we thought what great way to allow more folks to enjoy the natural serenity of the Northeast Georgia Mountains than to build a home that allowed others to find peace while vacationing in our magical part of the world. In addition to being farmers, we are general contractors and have built this home with our guests stay in mind. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or suggestions to make you stay more enjoyable!

We are approximately 10 minutes south of Tallulah Falls considered to the the "Niagara Falls" of the South. Adventure awaits!
