Quiet and relaxing casita here in the heart of San Fernando. Featuring one bedroom/one bath stand-alone back house that sleeps four comfortably. Walking distance to metro link station. The house includes parking on street, front load washer/dryer, new bathroom, cable TV, wifi, a private backyard with fire pit/bbq, and cooking essentials.

We try to address all the wonderful feedback we've received from our guests. As of August 31, 2022, we have made the following changes.
1) Hired a new cleaning service
2) Installed blinds on the front door and front windows for privacy
3) Added an A/C unit in the living room (the bedroom already had one)
4) Replaced the sofa bed mattress

This house is behind the main house and is accessible through the side gate with contactless entry.

No parties or loud noises. This is a family-friendly neighborhood. The city of San Fernando has it's own police department and are quick to respond.

Close to freeway 210, 118, 5, 405. A 10 minute walk to the metro link station with a 30 minute train ride to Union Station in Downtown LA. Close to six flags magic mountain and universal city.

We are in the middle of Six flags Magic Mountain 14miles away, and the famous Universal studios Hollywood 14miles away. Other attractions around us are Hollywood Walk of Fame 18 miles away.West Hollywood strip 19 miles away. Getty Museum 19 miles away. Griffith Observatory 22 miles away. Santa Monica Pier 26 miles away. Van Nuys Airport 9.8 miles away. Burbank Airport 12 miles away. LAX 31miles away. Nethercutt Museum 0.7 miles away.

Extended stay

We stayed for 2 weeks and the place was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids (4,7). The sofa couch with the extra mattress is comfortable. The location is central with numerous dining options and grocery stores nearby.

Family Visit

This was a small but mighty space. It had all the things we would have at home but in a smaller space, which it did not feel like so. There was a lot of space for the kids to play outside and thank you for 2 tv's. I was able to lounge while the girls were able to watch cartoons.

Nice quick getaway.

This is the baby of baby cottages. Cute little mother in law sweet for you and your partner. We checked out Santa Monica Pier and went to six flags all each within an hour drive from the house. Beautiful neighborhood in the IE.

Nice casita that has just enough of what you need

The property was located behind the main house and the directions to check in were clear. We all enjoyed our stay, even though there were some ants that showed up, just keep the area clean and it should help. There were spare sheets for the pullout couch and the mini split worked well. We didn’t use the dryer and washer but that was a nice feature in case we needed it. I’d recommend this place for anyone that is looking for something small yet fits their needs. The host was friendly and accommodating.

Ich habe die Küche geliebt!

Das Tiny Häschen ist ruhig in einem Hinterhof gelegen. Parkplatz auf der Straße vor dem Haus war immer frei, ansonsten waren genug Parkmöglichkeiten in der Straße. Das Tiny Haus ist stylisch und gut eingerichtet. Da wir zusätzlichen, sehr kuschligen und warme Decken hatten, haben wir die Heizung nicht benötigt, bzw. nicht eingeschaltet. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Ich habe jeden Morgen so gerne den Kaffee gekocht und dabei in der Küche gesessen. Selbst die Küche fand ich gemütlich. Wir haben nur Kaffee gekauft, Filtertüte war vorhanden. Viel haben wir nicht gekocht, aber an der Ausstattung hat es nicht gelegen. Die Küche war mega ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr bequem, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Wir können diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr gut, sie hat immer innerhalb von paar Minuten geantwortet.

MINOR GLITCHES

Large backyard with astroturf suitable for frisbee, etc. Nice rear cottage. Heater a little slow to warm up interior, but nice soft additional blankets. Couldn't get either TV to go beyond homepage after futzing with all buttons on remotes (not a biggie in that we hadn't really gone on vacation in order to watch TV).
