N34 is a top floor condo with beautiful mountain views that features two bedrooms and a bonus upstairs loft bedroom. This popular resort condo has newly installed laminate wood floors and a lanai that is perfect for sunset dinners. The master bedroom features a fabulous view overlooking the Waikoloa fairways and Hualalai mountain. The main living area has an open floor plan with high ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room and glass sliders that open to the lanai. The second bedroom offers two twin beds, a TV and a full bathroom.

A very special perk of N34 is that the condo comes with a Gold Membership to the Kings Club Golf Course, which gives guests a significant discounts (50% to 70% off) on the Waikoloa Beach Resort courses. Rates and course availability are subject to change without notice and membership must be renewed annually by the property owner and may be discontinued without notice.

Great spot if you need extra space

Great space, basics were provided but not much above what you’d find get a hotel. They did have beach gear and some kitchen basics i.e. salt and pepper, oil. Nice and white with a good view. Would stay again.

Family vacation

The fairway villas are a wonderful complex. The unit qas comfortable with a/c which was great. Great pool and grounds and centrally located in waikoloa. Although the description says updated in 2021, the kitchen appliances are sub par. Dishwasher doesn't clean very well and the washing machine didn't work while we were there so that was a bummer. Communication was decent with the management company who provided extra towels and offered to launder clothes we needed washing. The decorations and outside furniture were sparce, but adequate. We had 6 people: 2 kids, 2 adults and 2 grandparents so if you are traveling with kids and they can navigate the spiral stairs, it works well with 6. Overall great stay. Its very expensive over Christmas, but worth it

QUICK STAY IN HAWAII

This property was perfect for our quick stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the views from the balcony for morning coffee were restorative. I highly recommend this place, also great location for shopping. Only inconvenience was the parking spot, but still not a big deal.

Beautiful unit with some detractors

Beautiful unit, great location. However 2 big detractors.The AC isnt strong enough or charged with coolant to comfortably and efficiently keep the unit at a comfortable temperature. We had to leave curtains drawn all day and have other loud fans on full to feel somewhat comfortable in the unit.This defeats the scenic view unless you are on the lanai. But on the lanai you had to deal with the loud operation of the AC unit running continuously trying to cool the unit. Takes away from sitting out quietly listening to birds, trying to visit with others, etc.Also our son discovered a sizeable dead cockroach followed by 2 live geckos under his bed in the upstairs loft. This can come with the tropics, but left us wondering how thorough the cleaning was before our stay.Parking is in ‘guest’ areas which is not conveniently located in front of unit. For the price of rental, usually am provided a dedicated parking spot close to a VRBO unit.Again the location is convenient and scenic, pool was enjoyable. Perhaps better unit maintenance and parking would push our rating to a 4 to 4.5 star.

We have stayed in Waikaloa before and this property was beautiful.

Everything was wonderful with the property and the condo. The only thing I would mention would be that the air conditioning did not seem to be working at full capacity- it never seemed to cool down all that well. Aside from that everything was wonderful!

Great location and amenities

I booked N34 (2br/2ba + loft) for my friend and I for 6 days so we could play golf and relax in a spacious townhome. We prefer a condo / townhome versus a hotel room because it gives us more space and flexibility at a comparable or even lower cost. We like to cook some meals and choose a property with a variety of restaurants, casual and fine dining, within a reasonable proximity to our unit. Unit N34 fit the bill. We liked the layout of this unit; it's location, being close to two shopping centers. The unit was well furnished and the bathrooms were clean. The master b/r had a king-sized poster bed; the 2nd b/r had two twins, and the loft held another king. There was ample closet space and the bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries and towels. The only nitpicks from us were: 1) it felt like there was grit on the wood floors so we couldn't walk barefoot; 2) being restricted to parking in a visitor stall could have been problematic; the closest ones are by the next building over (M); and, 3) the lack of closet space for the loft. I have to compliment the management (South Kohala) ... we had to extend our stay by a day (due to an emergency) and they came through for us over a weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Great location

This condo was in a great location within a short walk to the Kings and Queens Shops with dining and shopping options. The pool area is beautiful and only 1 building away from this unit. Unit had great views across the golf course and lake to the shops. It is a top floor unit so the view was great. The elevator broke the first day as we were trying to get to the unit to check in (while we were in it!) so that didn’t start our stay out well. However, the on-site property manager got it fixed pretty quickly. The management company for this unit was highly responsive to email inquiries. The golf discount was a great perk. Our only complaints were that the AC unit (located on the lanai) was extremely loud and kicked on every few minutes detracting from the peaceful view. The living room furniture could be updated to something more comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. It appears to be worn out and in dire need of replacement. I like a firm bed but this was so hard I actually looked to see if it was just a box spring and no mattress. Sleeping on this bed resulted in daily back pain which was a bummer for the rest of the otherwise amazing trip. If the owners upgrade this mattress (and probably the 2 twin mattresses in the other room), this place is an easy 5 star stay.

Perfect for two couples

We love staying at Fairway Villas! This time we brought another couple along, and these properties have just the right amount of space for two couples to have privacy AND space to hang out together. This condo has indoor dining for 6, outdoor dining for 4. Lots of dishes and cooking equipment. There is a loft with a bed as well if you have six people. This condo has the best beds! We love the location of this condo. It is close to the shops and grocery store, a five minute walk to the beach and we love the Kohala coast for the sunshine!
