"Outlook" Apartment With Own Entrance and views over the River Dart

3 Bedrooms: Master with en suite,Shower and king size bed with views over River and Dartmouth. Second Bedroom with double bed and views over Orchard and Royal Navel College. Bedroom 3, a single Bed overlooking Royal Navel College. A family bathroom with shower over bath. Master Bedroom with en suit. Short stay rates available - please contact owner.

Decorated to a high standard with balcony along full length of property and accessibly from sliding doors from both lounge and dining room.

Perfect vacation

Brilliant location

This property is spectacular for views of Dartmouth and Kingswear. The layout of the accommodation provides ample room coupled with the balcony space means a perfect self catering choice.

A Room with a Wow!

First class apartment with a great balcony, affording gorgeous views of the River Dart and beyond. The interior was exceptionally well presented with everything you could posibly need. My wife and I had the most wonderful, relaxing 4 day stay, and would happily return.

Great views

Excellent views from a modern and well equipped property. Located on a steep hill, but close to all amenities. Easily large enough for a family of 4. Needed to park 5 mins walk away.

What a View

Wonderful apartment amazing views over river Dart Has everything you would need for a fantastic break in Dartmouth Would we return definitely yes hopefully the weather would be kinder to us but the rain didn’t totally spoil our weekend we loved it

Fabulous!

Fantastic, comfortable apartment with the most amazing views of the river. Perfect location from which to explore Dartmouth and the surrounding area. Lots of beautiful walks and so many excellent restaurants to choose from. Never a dull moment watching the activity on the river from the comfort of this fabulous apartment. We will be returning soon!

Lovely modern apartment with amazing view!

The apartment was lovely, better than it looked in the pictures, on a quiet side street, close the centre of Dartmouth and all the pubs, restaurants, shops etc. It was clean, modern and well equipped, with a balcony overlooking the river Dart with the most amazing view. The only downside for us was the parking, which was quite tricky, being on the street further up the hill, and we had to park quite far away from the property on a couple of occasions.

First time back for the family after 2 years. The flat and views were outstanding. The neighbour hood were a fantastic - welcoming, helpful and friendly. Parking was the issue as we do trip out as well as stay locally. It was an added expense for us but for anyone using local transport it would not be an issue Thank You

Great location and view it just was not cleaned for us

The property is a great size and location with amazing balcony and view over the Dart estuary. Beautiful towels and bedding and its clear they have gone to a lot of trouble to make it lovely but we did have a problem. Penny and Jim claimed the property had been cleaned that morning but it had been empty since January. The kitchen was lovely and clean but as the first let for the season you would think the property would have been totally cleaned but sadly not. We were not too concerned about the dust on the skirting boards, coffee table, TV unit, ceiling lights, extractor fans, bathroom radiators and the mold etc around the windows/frames which needed wiping down and cleaning. But the kitchen/living area floor had not been swept and there was food stuff etc visible. The worst was the bathrooms sinks with some hair in and dust but in particular the bath had scum marks on it and we were not really happy about that. We called them and Penny came round in a total rage pushing and shoving us and waiving a fist in our faces. She was saying she had never had any complaints, she said the bath was never used so clearly did not matter, she asked if we were from some TV show we had never heard of and told us we could leave and have a full refund but she was not prepared to sort out the floor and bathrooms. That was not a feasible option for us at 5pm on a Saturday night and we knew there were no other properties in Dartmouth anyway from when we booked. She was almost hysterical and we were astounded by the reaction and kindly asked her to leave because the atmosphere was quite upsetting. She left and we got the cleaning equipment out. Jim appeared a bit later, no apology but asking if everything was alright and said that Penny was very upset - quite bizarre. We got on with our holiday and had a lovely time. Its a real shame and its clear from what we showed Penny that she could not see the dirt and dust and just tutted. We did not really mention about a lot of the dust and windows, there was clearly no point if she could not see that the bath was not acceptable. If they are able to get the place cleaned properly then it would be perfect. We are not habitual complainers and rent many properties, I think the last time we complained was over 20 years ago when we stayed in a hotel that had holes in the bedsheets.

Fabulous river views

What a fantastic location. Fabulous views of the river throughout the property. The stylish and comfortable apartment is a perfect base from which to explore all that Dartmouth and the surrounding area has to offer - stunning walks, excellent restaurants and fascinating maritime history.

Hit the Bullseye in Dartmouth

From booking to checking out couldn’t have gone more smoothly. This apartment suited us perfectly and our stay in beautiful Dartmouth was enhanced by staying here. The balcony with spectacular view was sublime. The apartment was modern, spacious, comfortable and well situated. Parking not the best but to be expected with such locations and we managed fine (hilly!). So very convenient for town/boat trips/train/open top bus.

Fabulous Apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Penny’s apartment. The apartment is in a great location overlooking the river Dart. The apartment is very well equipped and has plenty of space for 5 people, with two excellent bathrooms. The terrace/balcony is a great place to sit to enjoy the views. We found the apartment very comfortable and would love to return.

Stylish property with great views

We really enjoyed our stay at Outlook. It is a stylish property with stunning views and a large balcony overlooking the harbour. It is a great location just a short walk to Dartmouth.

We very much enjoyed our week in this excellent flat. Very close to the town, shops & restaurants. We loved the terrace as the views over Dartmouth are stunning. Would definitely like to stay again in the future.

Best view in Dartmouh

We have stayed at several holiday lets in Dartmouth and this one had the best view yet. A great apartment with everything required of a holiday let. The only negative for some people is the short steep walk up the road to the apartment. The view makes the walk worthwhile though, and there is always the Ship in Dock at the bottom of the hill where you can fortify yourself with a drink before the 200m walk. Overall I couldn't recommend this holiday let enough.

Stunning views!

We loved this apartment! Everything was perfect. The walk up the hill is very steep, but well worth it for the amazing views over the town & river. It is advertised as 3 bedrooms & 1 bathroom, but it’s actually got 2 bathrooms & has everything you need. Very quiet & peaceful location but within walking distance of all the shops, bars & restaurants. We loved it!

Best location and view in Dartmouth

We’d never been to Dartmouth before and were very lucky to choose this property for our first stay. The views of the town, the estuary and the surrounding hills is excellent. Ridge Hill is a good location. It’s easy to get to being close to the main road into town and is still close enough to the town centre to provide quick access on foot. Common to many properties in Dartmouth you have to be able to walk up a steep hill to get home and parking is always a question of park where you can. We were able to park most days in Mount Boone further up the hill from the house. The house is nicely equipped and spacious. Enjoyed our stay.

We come to Dartmouth every year and love it, this flat has had the best views so far they are spectacular it’s like watching a moving picture, the flat was well appointed with everything you need and a good standard the balcony was amazing for watching the world go by and the hustle and bustle of the water. Amazing.

Penny & Jim Davis are originally from London, had a second home here since 2004, came to live here 2012, we find Dartmouth a really friendly town with lots of eateries and shopping. Dartmouth is 13 miles off the beaten track and as such a gem, we found by mistake and love it! Plenty to see and places to visit locally. Once the car is parked there is no need to use it as there is lots of walks, transport either by bus or river boats visiting towns on the River plus there is charter fishing with many boats to choose from and wild life trips to diving. Shopping is local with individual shops, restaurants and pubs which are very good.

Why they chose this property

Outlook is situated less then 5 minutes walk from town, we are half way up Ridge Hill, a pub The Ship In Dock before you negotiate Ridge Hill which do a great coffee, beer, wines and pizzas, further up the hill on right is a Orchard with lovely views and well worth going to. Outlook itself has recently under gone refurbishment from top to bottom on two floors and contemporary furnished, light and airy with views over the River and Dartmouth, guests seem to enjoy a glass of wine on balcony and just relax enjoying the view.

What makes this property unique

Once here you will find that walking around the back streets, with many ways to get back to "Outlook" which is similar to being abroad, with different views and properties. There is a market square with weekly farmer markets, craft days and shops, stalls and cafe's.
