Blue Pelican-Amazing Views-30 Sec Walk to Beach-Pet Friendly

Adorable 3 bdrm, 2.5 bth beach house w/ amazing views of the Gulf, a covered deck where you can sip your morning coffee and admire the sunrise over the gulf, a comfy bunk room, and enough beds for up to 15 guests. The downstairs master has a king bed, gel memory foam mattress, and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs has 2 bdrms, including a bunk room w/triple full and triple twin beds (sleeps 9), another room w/queen bed, and a full bath with a shower/tub combo. All bedrooms have amazing views.
The living area has two full size leather couches, one containing a queen size pull out bed. 10131.
Up to three pets are allowed for a $50 pet fee. Please let us know when booking that you are bringing pets. Dogs only, please.

PLEASE NOTE: There are security cameras on the outside of the building. They are located under the house, at the top of the stairs, and on the deck. There are no cameras inside.

Home away from home!

I can not say enough good things about this getaway. Beautiful views, clean, close to the beach, comfortable furniture, great host, amazing deck, hot and cold outdoor shower, functional outdoor furniture and personal touches throughout…loved the dog friendly touches.

Very dusty, a lot of animal hair and fridge door wouldn't stay closed.

Aside from the pet hair, dust, us having to clean the fan blades and washer that had a lot of hair stuck in it, or the fridge not working/door closing causing food to not properly store... the location is great. House looks nice, but wasn't very clean! Owner was responsive and the setup is nice. Oh, the outside shower didn't work and the water wouldn't cut off. But this place has potential and of course is cost efficient. You get what you pay for.

Long weekend stay

We stayed with family for a short weekend trip and it was great! Clean, great communication with Christina, and so close to the beach. We all had a great time and would stay again for sure!

Perfect

Loved the property. The house was exactly as described and beach access was close and easy to get to. There were multiple close restaurants and stores. The only complaint was the mosquitos were relentless and giant. There were some sprays and a citronella candle but i don't think there was anything that could be done about thise pesky critters. Otherwise a perfect vacation.

Great weekend

The house was perfect for our group of two families. Everything was clean, and we appreciated the extras that were provided. The kitchen was well-stocked. There were lots of beach toys available too. Access to the beach was easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here and would definitely book again!

AMAZING LITTLE GEM!

Such a great find! Christina was available for all of my questions at any time. Super clean as well! My boys had such a good time and the 30 sec walk to the beach was amazing. Not over crowded and lots of things to do. Some of the locals even had a party and the live music was awesome. I really enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around porch every night and morning. We had a little hiccup with our car 30 mins past check out and one of the neighbor came to give us a jump. Thank you so much Christina, such a great little community and we will definitely be back! :)

Family Vacay

Property was clean, very well kept and had plenty of room for our family of 14. Owner was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. The house was equipped with more that what you need and is very close to beach. We rented the golf cart for our entire stay and really enjoyed having it. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the beach in that area. I have always heard yucky things about Texas beaches but we loved it.

Excellent family vacation

This house is immaculately kept, and the owner has gone above & beyond to anticipate guests’ needs. Every detail - from charming beach decor, to a great variety of beach play gear, to a well-appointed kitchen, and even bathroom samples like you’d find at a hotel! - is thoughtfully considered. This was our family’s 2nd stay, and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect Beach Vacay

Blue Pelican was the perfect house for our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids). The house was fresh, cool and clean upon our arrival. The complementary toiletries and cold bottled water were a nice touch. Our kids loved their “kid cave”. We added on the optional golf cart and found it very useful for hauling our gear to the beach. The beach and water were beautiful and we enjoyed three full days of sand and saltwater! Communications with Christina were quick and always helpful. We highly recommend Blue Pelican!

Great Place

The house was great. Located a few steps from the beach, but renting the golf cart was by far the best idea. You can load all of your stuff on the golf cart and park it in the garage when you get back so it's ready for the next day. The house has everything you need. The beds were comfy and TV had all the movies and streaming services needed to relax in the evening. We will be back for sure.

A nice property with great beach access and beach views

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was well stocked and the overall vibe was beachy and comfortable. The managers were easy and quick to respond with questions and when we did not bring our dog, we were refunded the pet deposit promptly.

My husband and I are both educators. He is an elementary school counselor, and I am an elementary school teacher. We have 3 beautiful daughters, two in high school and one in middle school. We enjoy traveling in our spare time. Family is very important to us, so our beach house is the perfect place to travel and have family time.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property because we have always dreamed of having a place at the beach where our family could gather and spend quality time together. In the meantime, we figured that we could share our beautiful beach house with others that have the same goal in mind. It is such a lovely place with a lovely location that everyone can enjoy.

What makes this property unique

We chose this particular house because of the views from the deck. We love to sit out on the deck with our coffee and enjoy the ocean breezes, while viewing the beautiful sunrise and sunset. It also is perfectly covered so that you can enjoy it at all times of the day. We could stay out there all day long. We also love how well designed the interior of the house is, separating the master down with the secondary bedrooms up, along with the amazing views from all of the bedrooms and living area. The street is very quiet, as well, with very little traffic. Most importantly, it is just a few steps from the beach, making it very convenient to come back from the beach to use the bathroom or get a quick bite to eat before heading back out again.
