Can’t say enough good things to describe how excellent our trip was. Host was very good with communication. Beautiful property and we had all we needed plus some.
My husband and I had an amazing stay in your beautiful cabin. The cabin gave you a feeling of being right at home. We went to town to the Grafton Pub for dinner, then hit the Martini Bar. Afterwards came back and enjoyed playing Foosball and listening to the great collection of music. The bed was really comfortable and thanks for the abundance of extra blankets provided. In the morning, my husband prepared a wonderful breakfast. We then headed out for some eagle watching. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property! We would definitely recommend your cabin to friends and family.
We had a super quick stay and cannot wait to come back. The cabin is amazing—so much to do inside and out. It was clean and comfy, great layout. The communications for renting were super smooth. We can’t wait to come back and spend more time to fully enjoy the space—especially what the outdoor adventures hold!
First of all Brandon was amazing we had snow and he cleared the area so my guest didn't have any issues parking. The cabin was perfect for my ladies PJ party. His cabin had everything that you might had forgotten to bring for the overnight sleepover.
Loved the house; great vibe; very relaxing; great place to meet our out of town family to celebrate Christmas. While I absolutely loved the yard, the weather was rainy and cold so we really couldn't enjoy it. I was getting over a horrible cold so a lot of time was spent indoors, a real torture, watching movies on the comfy couch by the fireplace, or we played games - Scrabble, Jenga - while listening to Fleetwood Mac on the record player; great record selection. Was wishing the decorative guitar was playable though, lol. Ordered food in from Grafton Oyster Bar and ate in the comfortable kitchen. Doggos loved the property too and they had room to roam. The yard is crazy cool for kids. This is the coziest house we've ever stayed at. Pere Marquette State Park is a 5 minute drive away with a drivable tour (check out the "Eagle Roost Scenic Overlook", gorgeous, you drive up it). Actually, I wish I owned this home; just so incredibly beautiful tucked into the side of a giant hill. And we saw this home when trees were bare, and dealing with rainy weather. I can only imagine full bloom. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Will definitely be back. Host Brandon was super nice, easy to work with and very responsive.
My family loved staying at the cabin. Everything was clean & felt like home. Plenty of extras that made our stay special... games, record player, outdoor activites. Definitely need to stay more than one night next time!
We loved our stay at the Getaway Cabin. The house was perfect for teens and adults. The teens loved the Scrabble table and the large Connect Four game. The yard was perfect for evening family time eating dinner and then sitting by the fire. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the fun decor inside the house. Brandon was wonderful answering any questions we had for our stay. We can’t wait to return!
Lovely stay! Awesome cabin in the woods with every game you can imagine, inside and out! Only wish we had been able to stay more than one night! Will book again!
I threw a surprise party here and could not have asked for a better place! The host was easy to communicate with and I will be returning! Perfect summer stay
Our stay was all that we anticipated. The home was beautifully set up. We loved that everything was labeled, that was so helpful!
We also loved the seclusion and how close we were to the strip and restaurants.
Would definitely stay here again!!
The house was great. There were lots of games to play and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Thank you for the comfortable spot to enjoy friends.

About the host
Hosted by Brandon Jeffers
I love to travel and am proud to have set foot on all seven continents. Throughout my wanderlust (27 countries and counting) I've met some wonderful people, had some memorable adventures, and I feel that hosting others in my Travel-themed guesthouse is a new and interesting way to "Ramble On".
Why they chose this property
Grafton has always been a favorite place of mine and as a General Contractor for a living when I discovered the vacant, run down property with no updates, a hole in the roof, a sinking front porch, etc. I decided to buy it and create a rustic, secluded getaway for my family, friends, and guests. I am a proud member of the Grafton Chamber of Commerce.
What makes this property unique
During my first visit to the property I heard the sound of the creek flowing from the front porch swing and it put me in a happy place, and I hope it does for you also.
