Our Happy Place On The River

Our Happy Place On The River is an ideal cottage for just two or up to five. This quaint cottage has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a spiral staircase that leads you to a loft with 2 twin beds and access a second loft by captains ladder with a twin in this cozy one floor home.  There are luxurious furnishings throughout the home, a screened-in porch with waterfront views, high-speed internet, and many other great amenities.

Our Happy Place On The River is located on the west end of the Cottages at Herons Landing neighborhood, less than a minute walk away from the community fire pit and waterfront access. The stairs to the south of the cottage leads down to the river walk which connects to the harbor walk, where you can take in the panoramic views of the Illinois Waterway and Harbor.

This great cottage has a HDTV with DVD player in the comfortable living room. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you`ll need from dishes, cookware, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, and much more! Just bring your food and spices and Our Happy Place On The River will have the rest to prepare your favorite meal!

The covered screened in, front porch with outdoor seating opens onto a grass green space for family get-togethers. On the side porch you can enjoy a meal cooked on our charcoal grill.

House Rules:
During your stay, we ask that you remember to be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10pm- 7am. For real, take the party to the many downtown bars, where live music is always playing.

We kindly remind our guests of our "no smoking" and "no pets" policy to maintain the highest quality and cleanliness of our properties. This policy applies to all animals. Non-compliance with either policy will result in a $300 fine.
