We had a great time in Nashville celebrating milestone birthdays! Our lovely hosts had banana bread as a gift to us waiting and it was delicious! We were thankful for their recommendations to so many great spots throughout Nashville! This location is perfect! Walking distance to so many cute shops, restaurants, bars, parks, museum and the farmer’s market! We were able to walk and get a great tour of the city with the NashTrash tour company as well as walk to some wonderful shops. Location was great! Beds were comfortable And the place was very spacious! We will definitely stay again when we visit next time!
We had a great weekend in Nashville and the Germantown neighborhood was great. Really nice selection of bars and restaurants nearby. Byron and Melinda were fantastic hosts with a great property that suited our needs perfectly. Thanks for everything!
The house appears to have been a restoration effort, with older exposed brick and cool unexpected storage places for games, sheets and the like. The kitchen was modern and we loved the stained glass downstairs. Everything was clean. The house was in close proximity to eateries like Monell’s, and popular stops including Lower Broadway, and the Gulch. We had a lovely time!
This was my first trip to Nashville to celebrate a milestone birthday. This location was amazing with local restaurants and boutiques nearby. Downtown was a 30-minute walk away or a short Uber ride. The hosts were responsive and provided great suggestions on their favorite spots. Would highly recommend staying here for your Nashville experience!
Property location is in a great neighborhood and proximity to Broadway. We had six people stay at the property which met our needs. Check in and out process was easy and communication with host was fantastic. Will stay here again!
We loved the home and the location was great, lots of fun little places within walking distance to eat, minutes from the fun of downtown and we will definitely consider it again the next time we come to town.

Why they chose this property
The historic Germantown neighborhood is charming and walkable. Fantastic restaurants abound; bicentennial mall park and the farmer's market are just around the corner. Walking distance to the Titan's stadium, AAA baseball team the Sounds stadium, Tennessee history museum, and a short bike, scooter, walk, or ride downtown. It's easy to catch a ride via Lyft, rent a bike to roll through town, or scooter around to see the sights - all within a few steps from your door.
What makes this property unique
The house was built in the late 1800s. It was a recording studio in the 1960s and 70s, and greats such as Aretha Franklin recorded here. It was fully renovated in 2013, and retains the historic feel, with modern amenities. A private two car garage makes parking easy, rare for the downtown and Germantown area.
