Le Petit Nid, located in the core of Tourrettes sur Loup, is a charming and peaceful three floors medieval tower. The House Has Been recently renovated and it offers every kind of comforts. On the ground floor there are a functional kitchen and a comfortable dining room. There are two bedrooms with private bathroom on first and second floor and. On the rooftop there is a beautiful terrace with a view over the surroundings .. The village is 30 minutes by car from Nice Airport and there is parking lot in the center of the village.

We do not live in Tourrettes know we will not meet you the day of your arrival and the day of your departure. All the process is automatic. Although if you need need help there are some friends there ready to help you.

There is a free parking lot at the Place de la Madeleine (300m from Le Petit Nid) Which can be Reached easily by walk or by a free shuttle service. There is anche a payment parking lot in the Place de la Liberation

Mignonne petite maison

Les amateurs de vieilles pierres vont se régaler au milieu du village médiéval. La maison est sur trois niveaux avec deux belles salles de bain et une petite terrasse très ensoleillée. Elle est très agréable, mais attention aux marches.La maison manque un peu de lumière à l’intérieur, elle est néanmoins agréable. Si on vous y rester plus longtemps, sachez qu’il n‘y a pas de lave-linge.Nous y avons passé un beau séjour.

VRBO issues / NOT owner issues

If you appreciate “rustic” this property is perfect. The town of Tourettes Sur Loup in Nice is enchanting and the perfect respite before our large group trip to Tuscany. The locals were wonderful the property itself is lovely but primitive in that it is very old and will not be for everyone. If you have older guests or issues with mobility this apartment is not for you. The stairs are daunting due to its age but perfectly acceptable if you enjoy the rusticity of en Provence. Our issues are with VRBO- since my wife was the responsible party that “booked” the property VRBO blocked the owner from communicating with me which became a major issue, since I am the lead on our group trip to Tuscany for 32 people/ my wife helped me by booking this portion of the trip. I tried on many occasions to be in contact with Alberto the contact person for the property. I tried VRBO contact form, emailing him, tried to get his phone number and was blocked by VRBO at every instance. This became quite an issue when we arrived at the village and had no idea where the property was located, even the locals- had no idea where the property was located when they lived literally steps away. Luckily we found a shop owner that helped and we had an enjoyable stay. The property is not appointed with modern amenities- so if you’re seeking a ritzy rental this is not for you!! If you’re looking for a piece of history in a town chock full of history, this is your rental!! The rooftop patio was “MONEY

Wonderful home in historic old town!

The home was fully renovated with a gorgeous roof deck as well. In the heart of the old town - it couldn’t have been better!

Très beau village. Petit nid très bien placer…au calme, commerces à proximité. Beaucoup de belles visites à faire: Monaco, Grasse, St Paul de Vence, Nice,Menton…et des villages atypiques avec des vues fabuleuses.

eine sehr ausgefallene, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem die Dachterrasse mit dem herrlichen Blick auf die Küste zog uns immer wieder an. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Die Lage im Ort könnte nicht besser sein.Nicht geeignet für kleine Kinder, Menschen mit Bewegungseinschränkungen und Hunde.

Lovely and charming apartment in a beautiful village

The apartment is very cosy and we felt really comfortable, the whole house is nice and charming decorated. The view from the small balcony was amazing. The flat is located in a beautiful small village, there is everything you need around and it's a good spot to start day trips to the Cote d'Azur and the cities around. We really enjoyed our holiday, so that we elongated our stay. In general the communication with the host was very easygoing. We're looking forward to come back to Tourettes sur Loup!

Great house, comes with cats

House has VERY low ceilings in places, due to beams. It's old. What do you expect? What we didn't expect, however, were vindictive cats! Lots of cats in town, in and out of everyone's house. Fortunately, we like cats but we didn't know about this until one week before we went. What if we were allergic to cats? Anyway, all was going well until 3 days before we left, one or more cats started marking, i.e. peeing. First thing was comforter in the guest bedroom. I removed the cover and washed it but comforter was a loss. Next we discovered that the futon in the "living room" had gotten the same. All I could do was sponge it as best as I could but there was no way you could sit on it. Next day it happened again! I had already told the owner and we were leaving shortly so we weren't too upset. But we had to keep the windows closed, it was hot, nowhere it sit except bed in master and the SMELL! Owner had warned us to keep downstairs windows open, as cats could do "something bad" if we didn't. Well, we did and they still acted up! Thankfully they did it on our last 3 days of an otherwise amazing stay. We were there for a little over 3 weeks so consider ourselves lucky. House is great. Perfect location, modern bathrooms, fantastic people in town, etc. Although even off the, slightly, beaten path, Tourrettes-sur-Loup IS a tourist town. So the people are used to different nationalities. Even though we are two very charming people I think they treat everyone as nice as we were treated. All in all, we loved our stay. Except for those damned cats!

Appartement atypique pour amateurs de veilles pierres. Endroit très calme.

Nous avons passés un très agréable séjour. Attention à la tête les plafonds sont bas ! La décoration est de très bon goût, le lit très confortable. Il manque des rideaux obscurcissants dans les chambres et la poignée de la porte d'entrée devrait être réparée. Nous gardons un très joli souvenir de notre passage dans ce nid douillet 😊

Lovely village ~

It was our first visit to Tourrettes and we loved it! The square sets the tone of this lovely village and we knew immediately we wanted to explore more! Finding our apartment located down cobblestone paths in the middle of the village was fun! The apartment was wonderful! Everything you need and more. The patio at the top has beautiful views and a fun setting. Beds were awesome. The kitchen well equipped. Baths were nice a clean and the lines smelled of lavender. Lovely! Only draw back was the internet but Alberto worked with us to make it right. The tourist office was most helped fun with free intent and things to do. We ran into rain the days we were in Toureete but it didn't matter, we loved the place! Lovely village and place to stay ~ thank you Alberto!

Beautiful restored medieval house in a great location

If you like authenticity and the feeling of living the history you are seeing all around you, this is a great house. Several centuries old, it has a small footprint on a a side street just behind the town chateau, now the hotel de ville. Narrow stairs lead up to the second and third floor bedrooms and you have to watch your head here and there to avoid the exposed beams. A circular staircase leads up an additional story to a small rooftop terrace. Since the house is in the middle of the village, the view is mostly tiled rooftops(beautiful in themselves), the chateau, the clock tower that rings the hour (we loved that); but you can also catch glimpses of the mountains behind you and the sea several miles away. The most modern feature of the apartment are the two full bathrooms, nicely tiled and the nicest we encountered on our trip (we stayed in four houses). We loved the village with its restaurants and craft shops (though perhaps too many of the latter) and beautiful restored houses tucked away in all corners. Take some driving tours of the Loup gorge, up to Gordon and of course to Vence and its magnificent Matisse chapel. Heading down the coast by car can be hairy, given the traffic, but is worth the hassle. Really, Tourettes is perfectly located for touring the region; hone your driving skills for curvy roads.

Das Haus war gemütlich, allerdings darf man wegen der Raumhöhe nicht sehr groß sein. Die Küche dürfte etwas sauberer sein, aber sonst war alles gut und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Heavenly Charm

Tucked in a quiet, cozy corner of Tourette's sur Loup this house was the perfect resting place to come home to after full days of beach, museums and shopping. During our stay the town had evening entertainment in the square, what fun to drink wine with the locals and listen to live music, watch a silent movie, or see the delight of children at a puppet show. Restaurants we chose in town were all very good. We especially liked Clovis, you will need reservations. The beds at Le Petite Nid are very comfortable with very nice linens, and the terrace in the early morning and night the best way to begin and end your day. Merci, Alberto!

Great place in a wonderful town!

Beautiful house in an ideal location.

The house is well looked after and had everything we needed. We were unable to connect to the wifi but that didn't really matter for our short stay. We loved sitting up on the roof terrace but it is a long way down to the kitchen if you forget something! Thank you.
