This home is well-stocked with all the kitchen supplies you'll need as well as towels and linens. It's cozy but surprisingly spacious on three levels with a nice size patio. Owners were very responsive to an issue we had in the main bathroom and provided fans in every room. The home was convenient to where we needed to be and our granddaughter could walk to the lake. You can also take your car to a parking area adjacent to the water.
We loved our time at The Moose Crossing. The house was spacious and homey, and perfect for our family of five, including our pup! It’s a short walk to Moose Pond and a well-maintained private beach. We were able to easily rent kayaks for the week from a sports store adjacent to the beach, and leave them racked for whenever we wanted to take them out and explore. We were also a quick ride into charming Bridgton for shopping and restaurants. Tom was super responsive and helpful throughout, and we especially appreciated his spot-on recommendation of the 302 West Smokehouse in Fryeburg for some delicious BBQ! It was a great visit, and at times felt more like staying at a friend's house than a rental.
Excellent location and the best beach on the lake.
Was perfect for our 2 families of 8 people and well stocked with everything you would need. Owner was excellent at answering any questions and also dealt with any issues expeditiously. Highly recommend for any season as the area has a multitude of recreational activities.
The property and amenities are as described in the listing. The kitchen is well stocked with all necessities to make any meals, the wrap around deck was the perfect place for morning coffee. Cute shops in nearby downtown were fun to wander through and pick up a few books, souvenirs and necessities Relaxing at the lake was our favorite part of our time at Tom and Stacey's place, and they are very responsive to questions and helpful with things to do nearby. Thanks for accommodating us!
House was so nice! Very spacious. Well taken care of. We had an amazing time. So much to do in Bridgton where you didn’t have to travel far. Tom and Stacy replied quickly if we had any questions. I would love to stay here again.
My family of 5 visited in late summer. The house is very well-appointed with a specious feel. Very clean and the kitchen has everything you need to cook in. We enjoyed the deck for outdoor dining and stargazing. Just a stroll from Shawnee Peak and Moose Pond Lake. My family loved hanging out at the private, neighborhood sandy beach at the lake where we swam and rented kayaks. The Town of Bridgton is charming with a cute town center.. Great hiking trails are abundant. Truly a relaxing vacation.
Excellent cabin on a quiet road. Clean and spacious with everything you need to cook and relax with worrying about packing much. Can't say enough about the hospitality of the hosts. They were amazing at answering any questions we had and we will be staying here again.
Our family very much enjoyed our stay in Bridgeton. House was exactly as advertised. Hosts were very easy to communicate with as well as very welcoming.
This was a most peaceful and relaxing vacation. It was near everything we wanted to do. The kayaking on Moose Pond was great as was the swimming beach. Hiking right down the street. It was nice to unplug and enjoy nature and this fit the bill! The house was well appointed with everything we needed! All in all great trip!
House was great—well maintained and convenient to all the local activities. Quiet area; Great location just off Moose Pond and within a short drive to Long Lake Causeway
East access and short drive to North Conway
Great little spot place with and open layout, spacious deck and ski and water access. Great for accommodating a large group or family. Owners were super responsive to our needs and questions.
Overall good experience, owners answered all questions and layout was exactly as described. Short walk to beach/ pier made it easy. Allowing our dog to vacation with us made for a great family vacation.. Totally enjoyed moose pond, launching of boat was very easy. Lots of trails for hiking, golf is close by, has a little of everything. Looking forward to returning to moose pond.

Beach and boating in the summer, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, apple picking and hiking in the fall, and avoiding black flies in the spring. We are craft beer enthusiasts, HUGE sports fans, especially college softball.
