Strand & Sea Retreat
This beautiful home is a 1900 Flood survivor/Historical landmark with a modern cozy feel. We are close to everything - hence the name "Strand & Sea Retreat”! Stewart beach, Bolivar Ferry, the fabulous Seawall, Pleasure Pier amusement park, we are in walking distance to the very popular Galveston Strand which has several shops, bars and restaurants, easy access to the Galveston cruise terminal, Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Moody Gardens are just a short drive away! The living room offers a sofa and love seat, with a 50" TV. The master bedroom has a fabulous and comfy king size bed and our bunk room has 4 custom built twin bed made sturdy and spacious enough for kids or adults. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, 2 comfortable accent chairs and a table with 2 chairs intended to plug in your laptop for a work station or just to hang out and watch the 42" TV. 2 Full Baths, 1 with a stand-up shower and the other with a Jacuzzi tub/shower. The large backyard is very rare for these homes which is one reason we love it so much! For those nights you don't feel like going to eat, you can grill in the backyard and hang out with family and friends. We put this home together with a lot of thought to make any traveler happy, comfortable and memorable. I did not forget about those with a small child, we have a Pack n Play you are welcome to use.

Thank you for stopping by our property. We are just two hard working parents of an amazing little boy who love the water and to travel. We wanted a place to go to be able to hang out and relax as well as give others a place to stay where it feels like home but on vacation. See we took a leap of faith and here we are. We have done our best to make people comfortable and want to keep coming back to stay at our pride and joy.
Why they chose this property
It is absolutely beautiful. It is a historic landmark/1900 Flood survivor. It is so awesome to own a piece of history. The location is what sold us! We are near everything, adorable/popular restaurants, Galveston cruise terminal and local tons favorites are right around the corner. The strand is in walking distance and the beach and other entertainment spots are a skip away. LOVE IT!
What makes this property unique
The evening breeze is amazing, you can sit on the front porch or back patio and hear the horns as the cruise ships come in. It is so peaceful. Just come and see for yourself. Tell us what you love about it!
