We arrived on the 4th. 4 parts of our family from 3 different states. Surprised to see that we didnt have to go anywhere to view the fireworks which was nice after an 8 hour journey on motorcycles that day. 8 chairs, a patio table, and a bbq right outside the door. We just pulled up some chairs and watched the big fireworks and walked inside and went to bed. It was absolutely stunning. We were in w. yellowstone so we got to be close enough for all the shops and restaurants and a quick entry into the park everyday. But what i didnt know from the pictures is that it is right on the edge of town... facing a huge field and mountains so you get the feeling of being out in the mountains alone but the convenience of being in town. Amazing!
We were hesitant to book due to realizing there was no AC but we didnt actually need it (as the host had assured us). 4th of July weekend so i was worried about noise (other reviews had talked about) but it was so quiet!
We did have 7 people in our party so it would have been nice if we could all visit in the livingroom but it was too small for that but the wall between the kitchen and the livingroom is open so a few of us sat in the chairs in the kitchen and could easily converse and see those in the livingroom.
All around much nicer than we expected and everyone in our party was happy. The wifi wasnt working but the host helped us immediately, even on the holiday. Youll need to login to your own apps on the smart tvs, they also have directv.
It was a busy week for us! Our unit was as expected. Internet was not that great was my only complaint. I would suggest is list of restaurants in town along with grocery stores.
Upon our arrival I called to discuss certain issues. The manager was rude and very disrespectful.
The unit had no smoke or carbon monoxide alarms. Which is a violation of state law. She claims that previous renters removed them. There was no sign of any devices ever installed.
The WiFi was not working and as advertised and no attempt to resolve the issue.
The Condo is at the lower end of the spectrum. There are other options in West Yellowstone and I recommend choosing them
We generally stay in West Yellowstone during our travels to the park, and this unit was very basic but met all of our needs. We had a couple of small issues, which were quickly taken care of by the property manager, and communication was always good with her. Just a heads up for anyone staying there, the unit does not have any air conditioning. There are several fans provided, but there was no ventilation in the basement and those rooms got pretty stuffy in June. Also, it's hard to tell in the photos, but the basement is basically one large room, with bifold closet doors separating the two bedrooms. It wasn't really an issue for our group, but might be for someone wanting a bit more privacy.
The place was perfectly described. It was comfortable and clean. The kitchen is thinly stocked for those who eat most dinners in. There is a trash bag in each trash can but no extras.
The place is west facing so if you are there in the summer, know that without air conditioning, it will get hot in the afternoons/evenings until the sun goes down.
Great! We grilled out most days, so we saved $ by not eating out everyday so had more $ for souvenirs:). On the 3rd day there, I took a day off to explore town while the rest of my group kept exploring the park, which for me, it was a 15-20 min walk to the Main Street in town.
With so many restaurants, souvenir shops, ice cream shops, museum …etc so much to see. Overall is was a great experience.
Perfect place to stay to visit Yellowstone National Park. Short drive and you ready to explore. The teenagers liked hanging out away from their parents on the lower level.

Needs Improvement
I'm writing this review as one of four women (ages 59 and up) who stayed there for 3 nights. The best thing about this townhouse was the location, because it was only about 1 mile from the West Yellowstone entrance. However, the house needs a deep cleaning. A piece of the molding on the front door was missing, giving a not so good first impression. Here are other issues we had: 1) Coffee pot was awful. It was close to impossible to clean and once the coffee was made it sat in a non-insulated reservoir and got cold right away. It was also very difficult to empty. 2) Some of the dishes were cracked 3) Lighting around the stove was poor and noted grime there as well. 4) No toiletries: e.g.: little soaps/shampoos, etc. 5) The dryer filter was totally full (fire hazard) & other tenants' items had fallen in between dryer and the wall. We easily cleaned this by using a broom. 6) There was poor outside lighting, making it very dark when returning at night. 7) Lastly, the owner will not take calls directly from clients, as one of us tried and was told this. However, their number was provided with the contact information in the reservation. Another phone number was provided on the information sheet in the townhouse, but had been disconnected!
Good things were that we found the beds comfortable; bathrooms and linens clean.

Owners obviously do not care
First moment we arrived, we found the property looked run down. It's a good thing my disabled family member could not come, because there was no rail on the staircase at the front door. There was very very little in the way of standard condo or motel supplies: Example (no soaps in the bathrooms). The kitchen supplies were severely limited and the coffee maker was just weird.
When I couldn't find the directions to connect to the Wifi the owner did answer my message rather quickly, but with a very terse and insulting response -- "you'll find it on the kitchen table or kitchen shelf". Not being a moron, I had already looked there and so I had to send another message that was replied to with a guess at the password and no apology. By the way the Wifii never worked properly and when after 4 days I messaged again to help, I was messaged back with a very disrespectful response. She basically told me I should be appreciating nature and not depending on the internet. Unbelievable -- I am out in Yellowstone to appreciate nature, but unfortunately my business still has to take place and it's ridiculous that if you promise Internet -- you need to supply it.
I have been staying in these townhomes since the late 80's and will definitely choose another service or maybe be able to deal directly with a good owner in the future!
Nice quiet townhouse with nice view of the mountains. Twin size beds were comfortable but queen size ones were just ok. The home was in a quiet area with good shopping and close to restaurants. Owners responded quickly when contacted. Overall, it was a great stay.
Good spot for fishing trip or visit to Yellowstone NP
Overall the property was good. It’s a bit dated with numerous minor repairs needed (towel rack falling off wall in the bathroom, electricity out for the unit for unknown number of hours, water intermittently stopped coming out of kitchen sink, screen door handle would jam and become difficult to open). Otherwise, neat, clean, kitchen pretty well appointed, beds comfortable, all furniture was clean and comfortable. Convenient location.
The water pressure of the shower was really good. The kitchen and kitchen table was very nice. The TV WiFi wasn’t great. The set up was nice though. Very convenient to get to Yellowstone.
This condo definitely met our family's needs.
It was clean and ready to go when we arrived. There was enough space to play games, watch movies, or spread out and chill alone. There was plenty of dishes for cooking and eating. The proximity to the Yellowstone gate, shops and restaurants was very convenient. Because the condo is right next to the main highway and busy street into West Yellowstone it was loud at night. We did try to sleep with the windows open due to the unusually warm weather, which added to the noise level. Otherwise, the condo itself is a great place to stay.
4 bedroom condo but not advisable for 8 adults or 4 couples
The property is close to West Yellowstone entrance and also close to stores. However, the following can be improved: (1) Make sure that lights in all the rooms are working before a group comes in. All 4 light bulbs in one of the bedrooms was flickering and needed to be changed and there was no electrician available to change it. (2) the remote controls for the TVs were not placed correctly in each room. The TV remote for one of the lower bedroom doesn't turn on the TV until we found out it was interchanged with the remote of the TV on the adjacent bedroom with 2 twin beds. The same thing was observed on the remote for one of the bedrooms upstairs. (3) There was no can opener in the kitchen. (4) Since the lower floor bedroom with queen bed didn't have any window at all, air circulation/ventilation can be improved with providing an electric fan there. We had to bring down one of the fans in the upper level. We kept the condo windows and curtains closed up during the day as recommended by the host the temperature in the basement bedrooms was not cool enough for us.
Minutes away from the west entrance, this rental provides you with easy access to the park. Small town of West Yellowstone provides you with food and supplies. House was clean and able to sleep 8 people easily.
