Spring break

We loved our stay and will return. Our only issue was the key cards that allowed access to everything were accidentally left out of our packet. Since it was after hours it took a bit of time and effort to find someone to get us the key cards. Once we got hold of the correct person things were taken care of promptly! Great beach and pools. Wish I had brought my tennis racket!

great location

It's a small condo, but we wanted a place where we could walk to the beach and easily get to the sights and this place delivers on that. We've stayed in this condo complex before and it's great to have access to a not-so-crowded beach and two pools, as well as being a quick drive to historic St. Augustine. We plan to stay here (or at least in this complex) any time we visit the area because you can't beat the location. As far as amenities, it had what we expected - other than to eat and sleep we spent most of our time outside the condo, so we didn't need a lot of extra amenities or things to do inside.

Excellent for the price.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was great. Check in was super easy and the place was very clean. It’s in a gated community so it made us feel much more secure. Lost a star only because we were there for a week and they only supplied 2 rolls of toilet paper, and my husband is a frequent flier of the toilet. That’s really the only semi negative experience. Highly recommend.

Walk to beach at a reasonable price

I'm giving this vacation condo 4 stars because we felt it was adequate and clean and met all our needs, but it was outdated and nothing outstanding. However, we enjoyed having an easy walk through the complex to the beach (which was lovely), a convenient proximity to downtown St. Augustine, and a nice safe environment throughout the condo development. The bed was comfortable, there was a huge walk-in closet, and it was nice to have TV in both the living room and bedroom. We also appreciated the convenience of having laundry facilities in the unit. We don't share some others' complaints about the distance to the beach (it's a short walk), and the balcony hung over a side street adjacent to A1A, so the traffic wasn't right below us, as some have described. The Ocean Village Club is clean and well-maintained overall. The heated pool was closed for most of our stay; but, after all, it isn't high season, and they have to do maintenance sometime. We felt this was a good value for the price we paid.

Ocean Club Building C

The unit was very clean however, there were no pillows or sheets for the futon. The one fitted sheet for the futon did not fit it and I had to be true a pillow from the bedroom to sleep on. The towels and wash clothes have seen better days and I could not take a bath as there was sticky residue in the bottom from a previous bath mat The view from the balcony was of the Highway , not an inlet as the misleading photo suggested. A very long walk to the beach and not easy to locate as you have to meander behind several buildings. Super crowded so even with two pools on site there were never any open lounge chairs. There were only two toilet tissue rolls on site and one paper towel roll so I had to purchase more of those. It rained two of the days yet there was no way to download a Netflix or Hulu app on the tv. Also, this unit was on the third floor with no elevator so be aware if there is an elderly person staying here. The place is close to St Augustine and was clean, just lacked a nice view and certain amenities.

St. Augustine Beach

Property was clean and close to the beach and downtown. Nice amenities on the property. It was listed as 2-4 people, with a futon and 1 bedroom, however there was no bedding/pillows for the futon which we needed to use the day we got in. We got in on a Saturday night and heard from the property manager on Monday, never did hear from the owner. We had to get our own pillows and bedding to use. Also, would have been nice to have a full/New paper towel roll and toilet paper rolls (both were less than half), and more hand soaps. All around a good stay and nice property.

Lovely beach condo

This beach condo was clean, comfortable and an easy walk to the beach. It is also located close to shopping, restaurants, and a short drive to downtown St. Augustine. The beach here is beautiful! We enjoyed our week.

St. Augustine

Beautiful beach access. Loved sitting on balcony. Only negative was it was bike week in Daytona, and this unit sits right on A1A. Lots of noisy bikes during the day. Incentive to hang by the pool or beach!

Good location

Overall, my wife and I had a good time, because we love St Augustine. However, the air did not work for a consecutive 24 hours the whole week we were there. The property management company did the best they could in regards to having the AC people come and fix it, but it was an inconvenience (especially for the amount of money we paid to stay here).
