I loved the privacy of the property and all of the room. It had lots of places for different groups to hang out.

Save your money, don't rent the duct tape cabin.
Location is gorgeous, breathtaking views...
however, as stated in other reviews, the road to get there is ROUGH.
Upon arrival, we noticed that they did not mow the yard before we got there and the grass was nearly 3 ft tall. the porch lights were burnt out where the hot tub was.
It was well water so heavy with iron everything we cooked was gray and turned my hair orange.
there is duct tape on the couch, pool table, microwave and one of the baby gates wouldn't stay in place or wedge so it would be a safe area for infants/young children.
the basement bathroom fan would leak water if you showered on the main floor. there was centipedes, spiders as well as mice remnants in the basement.
you pay a hefty cleaning fee to be required to clean the cabin completely spotless once you leave, which is understandablely so but making everything is pulled off beds, bathrooms and kitchen is in the laundry room, dishwasher ran before you leave by 10 am is silly when you cant check in until 4 pm... When we arrived Friday afternoon it didn't even seem like they had cleaned the cabin before we got there. everything was dusty and musty. the propane grill would only cook on high heat and appliances could use an update.
all in all, i don't recommend renting this overpriced duct taped together cabin.
It was a beautiful cabin, great location, plenty of space, absolutely loved it!!
The only thing I would suggest is to upgrade on some furniture, appliances, and “foosball /pool/ping pong, as they were very worn and didn’t work as they should.
Love the cabin, so quiet and it was just as pictured. The property manger, Anne, was always there when I had a question. Loved the mine entrance to cabins with the big cross arms. Plenty of room to park three pickups with side by sides and trailers, plus a car.

Great view, horrible road
I’ll preface with the fact that my extended family and I had a wonderful time out here and the view from the deck is beautiful. The cabin was clean and amenities were nice HOWEVER… The gravel road leading to the property is not your typical gravel road. It is rocky and extremely ROUGH! Therefore if you are planning a stay that involves a lot of “coming and going” this property is not for you. During our stay the outside temps were in the 80s-90s, the “a/c” in the cabin consists of one small wall unit in the dining room which may as well have been left off. It was VERY HOT inside, almost unbearable to sleep in, even with windows open. The hot tub is big but be aware it is older, the foosball table is in awful shape, and there isn’t much of any yard. Overall nice cabin but a bit rough around the edges.

Cabin was just the right size.
The cabins size was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space and the rooms were good size and the games in the basement were tons of fun for the kids and the hot tub was perfect.
It could have been cleaner when we arrived. There were dead flies everywhere. There also were no extra pillow cases for the extra pillows, and the bathrooms didn’t have a lot of wash cloths, the tv remote on the main floor also didn’t work, and the dining table didn’t have 8 full chairs, which made it hard to sit around the table.
Location caught us off guard and was a lot further from town and harder to get to in the snow than expected.
Overall we had a great time, but some attention to detail when cleaning and a deep clean is necessary for future renters.
Our family loved the house. It is spacious, and well-stocked with kitchen items, towels, linen, etc... The pictures are accurate - we didn't find any real surprises with the house itself. The huge porch was great - we loved sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful view.
We wish we would have known:
-You have to drive down a decently long gravel road with large rocks to get to the house. We were worried about damage to our vehicles, and anything in the back of a truck will end up covered in a layer of dust.
-The local grocery store, Lynn's Dakota Mart, is super over-priced! Bring any groceries you can with you.
-Internet service and wi-fi signals are weak. You're definitely up in the mountains, which is great, but if you need to work or need service for any reason bring a hotspot or something with you.
-You are required to bag and empty all trash, strip beds, wipe down counters, and clean dry and put away all dishes before check-out. That's a big list of to-dos for a 10:00am check-out time.
The unit was very clean and well maintained! The surroundings we quiet and serene. Morning coffee on the deck in the mountains is what we all needed to clear our minds. Thank you!
Listing: Did not indicate there was no air conditioning. We made it work, but not ideal when you have to close the window for a group of rowdy men next door.
Property: Not the best location, but the property was clean and spacious. Hot tub did not work, so we missed out on using it the first night and were told to figure it out ourselves. Kitchen appliances and utensils are in very poor shape. Dishwasher does not work well and the blender was disgusting and was missing a top. I almost killed myself sitting down in one of the dining chairs because the leg buckled in. Pool table, pool sticks, table tennis, and foosball table are all in poor condition.
Overall: We had a nice time and the property is nice, but for the price, I would have expected better.
