Glan Dulyn is a warm, comfortable cottage in a beautiful location, on the outskirts of Betws y coed, right on a beautiful stretch of the Conwy River. Frances and Eifion have clearly put a great deal of thought and effort into making the cottage cozy, comfortable, and a pleasure to rest in, cook in, and enjoy. On our 12 or 13 visits to the UK, Glan Dulyn is hands down the best 'property' we have stayed in. Thank you, Frances and Eifion!
What a delightful cottage. Lovely to have the river at the bottom of the rear garden, stroll to the village with plenty of shops, pubs and cafes. The house itself is well equipped and cozy.
Just returning from a lovely stay at this cottage. It felt more like a home than rental accommodation. The owners have really thought about what you will need. The garden backs onto the river and you can sit and watch the wildlife. It has everything you need and more and only a 2 min walk to the village and all the amenities. Great walks from the cottage too. Highly recommend

Perfect Cottage with pretty riverside gardens
We booked last minute to extend our stay in Wales. Frances the owner was so helpful and accommodating. The place is a perfect country cottage and the river runs by at the back of the garden which is very picturesque. Bonus that there's space for 2 cars to park too. The cottage is located centrally in Betws-y-Coed yet secluded and peaceful. Recommend to try the 3 course menu in the restaurant and the Royal Oak Hotel and the Pont-y-prith pub for both food or drinks - all walking distance.

Lovely cottage, fab location
We had a lovely week at this cottage. Very comfortable, beautiful spot. Sitting by the river was a lovely end to the day. Easy to walk into the village. Everything you might need taken care of, very clean and owner was very helpful with the preplanning.

Why they chose this property
Glan Dulyn is a charming period cottage situated on the edge of the village, yet a 4 minute walk to the local hotel. There is a peaceful magic that descends over you within minutes of arriving at the property, such is its appeal. The patio area overlooks the river where you can enjoy viewing the ducks, dippers ,yellow wagtails, herons and other wildlife, with the summer house useful for the occasional wet day or artist? The cottage has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, bathroom ,lounge and a ground floor kitchen with patio doors to the garden. There are two patio areas and a cycle shed, parking for two cars and a private gated driveway.
What makes this property unique
We just love the peace the cottage in stills in you on arrival. It may be a small cottage but the 3 floors make it feel very spacious. The character beams and slate fireplace just add to the charm of this period workers cottage in the original Mill St in Betws-y-Coed.
