BLUE SKIES, SUNSHINE & SANDY BEACH AWAIT!

We would love to welcome your family to our home in Chincoteague. Blue Skies delivers more than a hope for wonderful weather. It is a home originally built by a long-standing family from Chincoteague and more recently redone to accommodate more modern needs. WiFi, smart TV, cable, washer and dryer and ironing board. The home sleeps seven to eight. There is a master suite with a queen size bed, soaking tub and walk in shower for those active days kayaking or paddle boarding. A second full bath with a tub is located near the second bedroom. For sandy days at the beach you might enjoy the outdoor shower with quick entrance to the house.
The second bedroom provides two twin beds. The sectional couch provides room for two adults or three children and a five-inch foam twin mattress pad can be added to any room.
Your furry members will enjoy a climate-controlled indoor/outdoor kennel, a dog bed and a fenced yard for fresh air. One dog crate in the living area is provided. Up to two dogs will be allowed each less than 100 pounds. The rent amount for the first dog is $100.00 and the additional dog is $50.00
Cooking is a delight with top of the line appliances, microwave, steam pot, waffle maker, crock pot, mixer, toaster, blender, coffee pot, lots of dishes, complete set of pots, knives and utensils. The table opens up to accommodate everyone. The living room and the enclosed sun porch provide two areas to gather.
The home is located 0.7 miles from Memorial Park and the Fireman’s carnival is 1.2 miles away. In season take the evening trolley from Memorial Park for any evening spot on the island.

Great family get away

We had such a good stay everything was just as it was advertised and more. It was so nice to have a place where our 4 legged family members could come with us and we didn’t have to worry about them. Accessibility to all our favorite spots and a nice neighborhood to walk around. Definitely would rebook in the future

Blue Skies was terrific!

Very well appointed and stocked hone. Extremely comfortable and quiet. Good location. Would definitely stay here again. As far as pet friendly properties go, this one was the best we have ever been to.

We have vacationed on Chincoteague Island for the last 18 years. This time we tried a new place and we couldn’t have been happier! The house was clean, comfortable and had all the essentials. Communication was prompt. I would definitely recommend this cozy home!

My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and Debbie was easy to communicate with. We especially enjoyed the beachy decorations, the huge comfy couch, the big bathtub, and the screened-in deck. We would definitely come back another time!

Quiet and Relaxing

The house is in a very quiet neighborhood. Very well stocked kitchen and had everything we needed to cook. The dogs really enjoyed the fenced in back yard. Be prepared for lots of steps since the primary living areas are on the second and third floors.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood

Just what we were looking for as a get away for 2020. We were close enough to everything, but enough separate we could stay “socially distanced”. The house is very pet friendly and there were lots of little touches added including a box of arts and crafts stuff that my daughter really enjoyed. Not an issue for my family, but this would be a difficult rental for anyone with mobility issues as there is a full flight of stairs to the front door.

Nice house. Well located.

We had a lovely time staying in this house. It was excellent for our family. It is wonderful for dog owners too. To be honest it was better than I thought it would be from the pictures. My only recommendation would be to convert to a key pad lock only so that arriving and departing were easier. Unfortunately the main drag in town is the opposite direction from exiting town. Therefore you have to sit in traffic to come back to leave. Otherwise it’s a great place.

Loved Blue Skies!

The pictures don’t quite do this house justice. It is comfortable and calm-feeling, pretty without feeling too formal, and we found it very relaxing. Our two larger dogs were quite comfortable, and a small or medium dog would have appreciated the kennel and dog bed even more. This house is also very kid-friendly, and was great even for our teen with special needs. We found the oroperty manager very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The house is also conveniently located—out of the busy tourist traffic, but only a 5-10 minute drive from practically everything we wanted to see. We hope to rent this same house again next year!

We had a great time!

The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen essentials and even condiments and staples, paper goods. Some items were never located - dog bowls and leash (we used our own leash and kitchen bowls). The minibus bedroom decor was a favorite! The upstairs was comfortable. We brought a couple twin aerobeds which fit nicely upstairs for the kids. Nicely situated between the marina, Main St, Maddox Blvd. and the Natl Seashore. We found some disparity between the VRBO listing and the homeowners notes given at check-in. For instance we brought sheets/towels but homeowner supplies sheets for twin beds that are X-Long. Also, closed-in porch was still under construction and not climate controlled.

Great house for 4-6 plus dogs

Great house in quiet neighborhood. Excellent outdoor spaces, common areas and amenities. Loved the deck in the morning and the fenced yard was awesome for the dogs, Overall house was clean, especially for a location that allows pets. Only the kitchen could have used a bit more attention as there was food splatter on cabinets and the dishes and appliances felt greasy. Easily fixed by running a load in dishwasher and wiping the surfaces upon arrival. One suggestion, provide a pooper scooper for the yard, we were happy to pick up after our dogs as we normally do, but it would make it easier and encourage all to do so. I would recommend this property to all. Thanks for a nice vacation.

Blue skies indeed

The house was lovely, the location perfect. We arrived late but we’re able to pick up the keys. The house had everything we needed. My only wish was a better mattress on the main bed, as it was foam and pretty soft. Otherwise we could not have been happier.
