No AC on Top 2 floors - 3 Bedrooms No AC for WEEK!
When we arrived at GP 132 - the entrance was dark and musty - no air circulation - would suggest removing carpet on entrance stairs and either replacing with some type of moisture resistant material/wood or indoor/outdoor carpet...needs a Keurig in the kitchen...
Our AC stopped working on the 2nd and 3rd floors - 3 of the 4 bedrooms on Sunday night...property managers (Crystal, Mike and Tyler?) worked hard to repair - ended up being the compressor so no AC for the entire week...used fans and portable AC units - never cooled enough - Master BR stayed at 73 to 78 degrees - had to keep all doors shut, blinds closed and fans running...did not get to see our beach view any from the Master BR...we had 2 toddlers ages 4 and almost 5 plus an 11 month old - had to move him downstairs for his nap times...again, local property mgrs. were really good - not their fault nor ours but we suffered the consequences...spent 2 days working on trying to solve the problem so did not leave the premises...left the GP 132 clean and neat...asked for a partial refund and only got a small amount considering what we paid for the rental - again - no AC in 3 of 4 bedrooms from Sunday on (we checked in Saturday, June 22 and did not leave until June 29)...have used VRBO in the past and have been very pleased - not sure who I need to talk with about a better compensation for our trouble...Sweetwater has 80 units and am sure that they have insurance but for us, we were given minimal compensation...Kat
