What a wonderful cottage!
This is the cleanest home I've ever rented--not just surfaces wiped down, but actually CLEAN.
The furnishings are comfortable like a real home and the whole house just has everything you need. There were even brand new bed pillows that you could feel comfortable using, which is something you never see.
The kitchen is great and well equipped and the extra drink fridge is a great touch and very helpful in keeping kiddos out of the way while you are cooking.
The deck is most excellent and the outdoor shower is the best I've had in years of renting in RI. The grill actually works, which has been a sore spot for me at other rentals for the past few summers.
If your kids are old enough they should be able to bike to the beach with no problem, otherwise it's easy to drop them off with all the beach stuff and walk or bike back. I walked from the house to the beach and back every morning for exercise!
Kelly Beach is always lovely and you can always do Scarborough Beach on a day you want bigger waves. Brickley's is a bike or car ride away and Roch's for quick groceries is close by. Narragansett also has wonderful basketball and tennis courts as well as wonderful baseball fields.
It was a perfect cottage and we had a great time! Thank you!
