Appalling
Arrived at the agency as instructed. Was given the keys by the agent after parting with €300 deposit, and €40 for the bed linen and towels. Arrived, but could not enter the car park as the barriers prevented entry. Finally got let in by a resident who also showed me the apartment block that was clearly lacking maintenance - she asked why we didn’t have a remote for the barrier - we hadn’t been given one. I therefore (having wasted an hour) returned to the agency for a remote, which eventually materialised. We returned, and entered the allocated basement garage. Sadly, my car is larger than a 1970s Renault 5, so would not fit in the allocated garage. We parked in a spare space back in the surface car park. The block - the smell of stale cigarette smoke was grim, but we carried on via the lift to the second floor flat. The landing was filthy. We entered the apartment. We had been asked to notify the agent if anything was amiss, but there wasn’t room on the form to list all the defects, and disrepair. I sent the agent an email containing over 70 photos of dirt and damage. The linen charge covered two sheets and two towels for 2 of us for 4 days. No duvet cover (only double size on a king bed) and no hand towels. No instructions on refuse disposal, or anything.
Two days later and we were evicted from the pool by security for not having a wristband. Cue a return to the agency where they appeared. It was very embarrassing.
A dreadful property- shame on Vrbo for listing it.
