Fantastic location! Close 2 Beach+museums+events + 2 bikes!

The "Hideaway" home is part of my St Pete Vacation Rental group and it is in the courtyard of a 1920's historic home and beautiful area of Downtown St Petersburg! Outdoor seating, grilling and relaxing areas. WIFI, Smart TV with netflix - Plus 2 Bikes just for your use! Restaurants in walking distance, grocery + onsite parking for 1 mid-sized car. Additionally there is a shallow lagoon pool that is perfect to relax in after a full day exploring or at the beach! BONUS you also get a Parking pass for the island of Pass-a-Grille (a subset of St Pete Beach -$45 daily savings)! You are my guest on this beautiful private island only 15 minutes drive away and a hidden gem of the area!

Your private dwelling includes a queen bed, a beautifully remodeled bathroom with pebble step in shower, an open concept kitchen to the living room with slide in glass top stove for cooking and a blender for mixing drinks, a dishwasher and Keurig coffee machine! The home is the back house of a St Pete Estate with a beautiful brick courtyard that contains a grill and patio seating. Thoroughly cleaned & disinfected prior to guest arrival. Sanitizer & contact-less check in provided.

Full access to your private home, and feel free to use the shared courtyard!

I am available if needed but try to give guests the space they would like while on vacation.

Blocks from downtown 2 blocks to crescent lake in Beautiful Euclid St Paul -filled with mansion houses and a wonderful place to explore! Just a block to hooks sushi, 9 blocks to the Tropicana Field! Across the street a new French Bistro/Bar and a Thai-mex restaurant. Crescent lake has a 1.1 mile walking path, dog parks, tennis courts and playground- north shore pool and beach is about 1 mile away and treasure island is just 7 miles west on central ave

We enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway. It is located near the historic downtown area so driving was at a minimum. We found the Hideaway to be adequate for our needs. We spent most of our time exploring St Pete. We did have noisy neighbors upstairs a couple nights. The courtyard is nice but traffic noise is constant (we did not hear it indoors). The place was clean and comfortable.

I chose this property because of the *free* parking pass for the local beach. The property owner wasn't sure where I found that information until I sent a screenshot of the listing, then told me the city took it away years ago. She then got my vehicle information and I was able to use the pass. Lots of rules for this property, so I expected more.The entrance was blocked by a big vehicle most of the time - so a very narrow path was the only option to get in with luggage. Not ideal for anyone with accessibility needs or a stroller.Wouldn't stay here again.

Great Location

The neighborhood is close to everything and we felt comfortable walking when needed. We had some difficulty finding the location with the address provided, but once we figured it out, it was fine. Other than that, no complaints.

Nice little Place

Lisa is very communicative. This property is a cottage- like outbuilding on the grounds of a larger house with another outbuilding. Parking is a pad in front (on sidewalk ). Overall very comfortable space except the bed... it is creaky and has uncomfortable pillows

TheHideAway was the BEST BASE CAMP COMPOUND!!!

We came over from Miami. First time visitor to the area and I am IN LOVE. The people, the architecture (that is actually respected and valued and lovingly restored), the vast array of INCREDIBLE restaurants—-all within walking distance. You won’t be disappointed here:) Plus, your FurFace is welcome to come and enjoy as well!!

Charming Place, Great Location

We stayed in one of several small rentals on this property (The Hideaway) and it was wonderful. They all look good but this one was particularly nice for us. Main level, cute kitchen, huge bathroom with roll in/accessible shower. Small learning curve to the designated parking for each space but easy once you “get it” (and plenty of street parking nearby if you have a very large vehicle). Location is really handy - just far enough away from downtown for less traffic but close enough for practically anything you need within a five minute drive. Communication with Lisa was great. Definitely would stay again!

Blues festival

The Hideaway was adorable, comfortable and had everything we needed. I loved the little pool and patio with my morning coffee. It’s in a fantastic location to walk to some amazing restaurants and we enjoyed taking scooters to the pier/ blues festival or a short ride to the beautiful beaches. Lisa was a wonderful host, very responsive thoughtful.

Lisa was a wonderful host. She was very accessible when needed and responded timely. I had no issues here. The spot is very close to downtown which made our Ubers cheap and we had a great time. The home is cozy and welcoming. Perfect for couples or singles on vacation. Definitely would return.

We are locals who had to flee a renovation in our home. We were so lucky to find the Hide-a-way. It was relaxing, serene and you hear water tinkling everywhere. Yet it burst with color, outdoor art and a lap pool. There are hidden seating areas shaded by palms and comfortable chairs. This owner does not cheap out on quality. The linens and towels were top notch and the bathroom was gorgeous. She allows well behaved dogs so we could bring our precious one. And lastly, her welcome book was spot on! St. Pete is now a foodie and local brew town. She new the heavyweights and had local tips to boot. Snap this one up.

My rentals are in two areas Pass-a-Grille (a part of St Pete Beach) and St Petersburg. (Just 15 minutes away from the other) I try to be as responsive as possible if you need ideas or have questions when visiting! My properties Pagbeachhouse and stpetevacationrental and I manage them personally. I love to help create a wonderful stay for someone while working or vacationing in the area!

I am a mom to a pretty amazing teenager and for fun we love to travel, see new sights, and exercise. I have completed 8 Ironman races. We have one dog (a black miniature poodle, Charlie) and two kitties (tiger and Percy) and we try to live simply by enjoying all the wonderful activities in our area.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is fantastic and so close to everything. I loved the history of the house sitting on the old St Pete Prominade of old homes going into the city. The restaurants across the street are fabulous also!

What makes this property unique

I LOVE living here in ST Pete the area is great with festivities and art shows and live music almost every weekend.. Parks galore and just fun all around!
