Even though we live in Boulder, my partner and I wanted to get a place to stay during the wedding festivities. It was the perfect place to spread out and relax, and was so well equipped as spa getaway. I wish we could have stayed longer!
The house is high end and beautifully apportioned with lots of details thought of to make your stay comfortable. The sauna, hot tub, and deck make for great outdoor time while there is plenty of space to relax in doors. The house is far enough out that you have privacy and an amazing view of the stars at night, but with only 15 minutes to pearl street (and grocery stores, Target, etc.) you don't feel so isolated.
We had a blast!
Our family of four recently stayed in this beautiful custom home near Boulder. Communication was excellent both before and during our stay, which was much appreciated! The home itself is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, clean and was only a short 15-20 minute drive to the downtown area. There were also plenty of hiking and mountain biking and trials near by that we enjoyed as well. The outdoor patio space was our favorite place to spend our time, enjoying coffee(and the hummingbirds) in the morning sun, eating meals on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of activities. We would definitely recommend this home and we thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Stayed here with my partner and friends. We cooked every meal at the house. Glad I found this place.
Pros: Hot tub and outdoor sauna were amazing. Easy to use, and we loved using it. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Huge fridge. Two ovens. Couch was so comfortable. Sound system was a huge plus. Large table for dining. Comfortable overall. Out of the way location, so this place is pretty private, though only 15 mins from Boulder.
Cons: Did not care for the induction stove - can't have it all I guess. Grill is generally not for guest use, even though it's shown in the listing, just FYI.
We spent Thanksgiving in Colorado and enjoyed this house for our home-away-from-home celebration. The house is quaint, the scenery is breathtaking, and the sound of the creek is a dream!
We had an incredible time. We had 7 adults and rented the basement. Very close to Boulder but in the mountains and away from it all. Beautiful views. Loved going out to see the chickens and goats. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
This home is nestled in the canyon in a wonderful setting. The almost 4 mile road you travel is winding and can be a challenge if your passengers struggle with motion sickness. It sets 15 minutes outside of Boulder. We loved the laid back atmosphere of the property. The master bedroom is wonderful and has a comfortable bed. The other beds were not comfortable. This is a unique property, but for the price I was expecting more comfortable sleeping arrangements. (Mattresses, pillows). There is not a microwave or toaster, but there is a steam oven. If the bedding is upgraded it would definitely be considered 5 star.
We were so enamored by the chalet and it’s location it was hard for us to go anywhere else once we arrived— location is perfect for a private getaway but still close enough to Boulder/RMNP. Manager was easy to contact with questions. We will 100% revisit if we can!!
