About this property

Bayfront family home w/ beach area

This open floor plan is great for spending time with family and friends. It is a split bedroom plan. Our home offers two master suites with jetted tubs, one queen size bedroom, and a bedroom with two bunk beds that are a twin/full. The large dinning table seats10. Fully furnished Kitchen that overlooks the living room. There is a sectional sofa and an additional chair with a 65 inch television in the living room to give you the at home feel while on your stay. All bedrooms have a television and the mattresses are updated every two years. Plenty of covered parking under house that leads to covered stairs. We have a lift for guest who have difficulty with stairs. There is a gas grill and a fire pit available to right of house.

Great Location, Plenty of Room for Family

Great location facing the bay. Plenty of room for family, dining and games after dinner. Loved the larger tv which allowed us to watch all the new years football games. Will definitely return in the future.

Amazing house

We had 7 people on this trip and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The living room was large open area with the kitchen and dining room which allowed everyone to mingle with each other. It has a great view of the bay and several mornings and eagle flew right past the house.. Don't hesitate to book this property. We will go back. of the bay. There is a large frontpast house.

Decent place to stay

The best part about this property is the location and bay views. There were a few issues during our stay that would have been nice to know of before booking. The refrigerator in the kitchen leaks water and does not cool when you put your items in it. The owner told us that happens when you put items in it but by morning it should be cool. I’m glad we noticed before all of our items went bad. We also had issues with the oven. The oven door was stuck on lock and unusable for the majority of our stay. We were finally able to fix it and use it, but the oven needs replacing as the door/handle is also broken. The property was nice overall but definitely needs some fixing.

Awesome place to stay on St George

This bayside property is great for a medium-sized group with lots of floor space and a big beautiful porch. It is in an oit of the way place without much hustle a bustle of the island. It was clean, well-appointed and well-decorated.

From the time we arrived until we left the house was amazing. No issues. The owner responded quickly when I reached out before arriving. We were more than pleased with the beautiful view and the house in general. I will definitely be looking to book this home in the future. The sunsets were gorgeous!!

Spacious and clean with beautiful bay view

Clean and spacious property. Took my family and had a great time. Short drive to the public beach. Views of the bay from the covered porch were beautiful. Highly recommend this property for families wanting to visit SGI.

Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, awesome main suite, terrific views. Our family came together for a new family tradition and we all felt right at home. Tvs in every bedroom for time aprt at night. We really enjoyed watching the dolphins every evening from the deck.

A great getaway

Our family stayed here for a week in August and had a blast! The house works out great for large groups, with everyone having their own bathroom. The only complaint we had was the lack of towels, only six bath towels and washcloths provided and we had seven people staying there. Otherwise the kitchen is nicely stocked and the view was pretty terrific!

Our family loved our stay at Sea U Later! The small beach right across the street on the bay was an excellent spot to enjoy the sunset every evening. The house is spacious and all amenities were available. Great host and easy to communicate with before, during, and after the stay. Would definitely return!!!

Lovely little getaway

The location was nice. Close to the main fare without being in it (not that anything is far away). The beds were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom could use a little maintenance (the floor tiles aren't completely attached in places and I'm pretty sure water flows in behind the shower because the caulking isn't sealed). Everything worked well, including ice makers, it just needs a little love. We would stay again. We had to purchase household essentials as they were VERY few : trash bags, laundry and dishwasher detergent, charcoal, and TP. Not a deal-breaker, but would be nice to know in advance.

Wonderful Bay Home

Very beautiful house. Need to update their pictures on your site. We all really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful house great water pressure in the bathrooms. Ac was amazing after being outside in the hot sun. Really loved the front porch. Great views of the bay. The only thing that would of made it better was a pool!! We will definitely look into staying at this house again. Need some bigger frying pans for a group of 10. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home.

Great Place

We just got home from Sea U Later this morning. We’ve been coming to SGI for 18 years and this is the first time we’ve rented through VRBO. This house is fantastic. Spacious, clean, great outdoor space and AWESOME location. I’ve referred a friend to the house and I’m sure we’ll stay here again. Thanks for another memorable week on the Island! Can’t wait to be back again.

Don’t stay here

Don’t stay here unless you want no A/C in half the house, no ice maker, only one working shower and plumbing issues. The power went out and so did the internet m. We couldn’t get the wifi to come back on. The host was very responsive at first until we started noticing problems. When we let them know about the problems we were ghosted. As you can read in previous reviews you will see the same issues noted. Obviously they have not corrected the issues. Also, the pictures need to be updated to show that you are not directly in front of bay beach access. Now half of the beach is fenced off by the house in front. The guest bedrooms were so hot it was miserable. All six of us had to share one shower in the master bathroom. This was a lot of money to pay for a half functioning rental.

We began visiting the island in 1965 when it was still a private island. We bought our property in 1997 but lived on the west coast and did not build until 2006. The house was framed when Hurricane Katerina devastated the Gulf coast. It took almost a year to complete the house but we love every detail. My favorite part of the house is the huge front porch where we watch the dolphins and manatee play. The lights of the St. George Island Bridge are beautiful at night.

Why they chose this property

The location is five blocks from downtown. It is convenient to all restaurants and shops and has a semi private bay beach.

What makes this property unique

The house is all on one level with a split bedroom plan. The two master suites have french doors which open to the front porch.
