Fully furnished cottage! A great way to experience Tawas Bay right on the water with sailing, kite boarding, fishing and beautiful sunsets! There is Full service Marina right next door with Jet Ski, Pontoon, and Kayak rentals! All resort renters receive 10% off watercraft rentals at the Marina after booking! Also offered is a Kiteboarding shop also next door offering rentals and lessons!

Refundable Damage/Cleaning Security deposit will be refunded after departure as long as guidelines in our rental agreement are followed.

* Please note this cabin allows a maximum of 2 dogs. The Pet fee when pet is selected charges for only 1 pet. Please let us know if you will be bringing more than one pet, up to 2 pets is allowed for a $15.00 fee/pet/night. This extra fee will be added upon request before or after booking.

PARKING:
- 3 parking spots
- Please contact us if you plan to have more vehicles to discuss extra vehicle parking
- Please ensure that your vehicle(s) are parked at the cabin you are staying at, and be kind to not park in front of another cabin's view of the beach/water if possible.
- REMEMBER: Our Cabins are on the beach, and some areas of our lot are sandy and can sometimes make it difficult for small or lower cars to park in some locations. If you have any concerns or difficulty upon arrival, please contact us for assistance.

Great location

Home was very nice. However, sheets were not on beds when we arrived and we had to strip beds, vacuum and clean the house before we left as per check out instructions. This should be done by home owners not guests. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Family retreat 2023

This was a great time. The house was great, very spacious and very accommodating. Being separate from the other cabins was nice too, more secluded. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin

This is a very spacious and beautiful cabin. It had everything you could possibly need from silverware to dishes, coffee pot, toaster, utensils... EVERYTHING. It was very clean and just beautiful. We were all so very pleased!

Great time!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Oak cabin. The Cabin layout was great and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we liked being separated from the other cabins. We didn’t use the beach across the street, we liked the state park beach just a quick ride down the street. We rented a pontoon boat from Jerry’s Marina next door and had a great time out on the bay. There were lots of shallow areas to anchor and hang out and swim. Overall a great location and great experience. We will definitely be back

Perfect location

Had a great weekend stay at the Cabin. The location was perfect being so close to the Tawas State Park, as well as a short drive to town if anything was forgotten. We will return.

Beautiful location, nice place

The Oaks is a fine, spacious "cabin" with a rustic look and surprisingly modern finishes. The decor is a bit on the spartan side but has a luxurious feel with hardwood flooring and lots of knotty pine paneling. Our host was very responsive and took care of our issues promptly. The layout is a nice mixture of group and private spaces. The unit is across the street from the main group of cabins on a large lot so there is lots of privacy.

Bachelorette party

This was on the perfect location not to far from downtown. Very cute and spacious. The beach is across the street from the cabin which on the listing we thought it was behind the cabin but overall we enjoyed our stay

Beyond unbelievable!!!!

We have been camping in East Tawas at the State Park for 27 years. This year we tried a different approach. This cabin in the woods is phenomenal! We loved the space, showers, large dining room table to play games and eat and the kitchen… wow! Best camping week ever! We will return again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Spectacular East Tawas Cabin

We had a wonderful time visiting with our Grandson in this beautiful cabin. Our Grandson stayed with us and loved the king size bed as well as the jacuzzi. My husband and I both slept as well as we do at home in the super comfortable beds. Just a few issues would not stop us from returning but that’s why the 4 rating instead of 5. Like the previous guests left every pot and pan plus the mixing pans greasy and food in or on them. We definitely left the kitchen cleaner then how we found it! We also had to buy some bake-ware to make homemade meals and desserts for our Coastie grandson. The place could use a couple large bowls that could be put in the microwave. We told Terri about a water issue in the downstairs shower. And the biggest thing for me was too many doors and windows with no window coverings in the dining and living room area which made me very uncomfortable at night!!! All in all with such minor issues we still had a wonderful trip and would definitely stay here again!!!
