About this property

Polk 404-downtown FREE parking

Our place is in the Arts District Downtown in a historic 6-story brick building. Built in 1900 but kept up to date with all the modern amenities (but so much character!). We are so fortunate to be able to share it with people from around the world.

THE SPACE
Go out and enjoy all the walkable sights or stay in-play a game of shuffleboard, read a book, or sip on a cup of coffee. Our goal is your utmost comfort and enjoyment while visiting the Athens of the South (aka Music City). We are complimented for comfortable beds, customer service and cleanliness (read our reviews!)
Our place has furnishings which reflect where it is located.

LIVING
You will find a record console player which doubles as a TV stand and bookshelf, along with plenty of pillows and throws to keep sitting comfortable on the sofa chair and sofa. Artwork in the living room feature the Tennessee Centennial Exposition of 1896. The cocktail table rolls away to make space for a queen air mattress or use of the sofa bed. A large Smart TV and high speed internet and wifi is provided so that can enjoy all your favorite shows on your Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and Hulu accounts. Shuffleboard game provides entertainment for adults and kids alike.

EATING
The bar seats 4 with adjustable padded bar stools. A Keurig coffee maker is provided along with coffee and fixings. A full assortment of glassware, mugs, plates, and silverware are provided. The appliance suite includes a refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave and range. Paper towels and dish soap is provided.

SLEEPING
The bedroom is the highlight of our place. We provide a King pillow-top mattress covered with soft and white bedding, an alt down comforter and 4 fluffy pillows. Each side of the bed is lit with a Tiffany style lamp for nighttime reading. We put a memory foam rug on each side of the bed so your feet come down soft first thing in the morning. The art deco style dresser is just gorgeous and has a wide mirror for getting ready for your night out. Wide drawers are stacked underneath for clothing storage. The closet has plenty of room to hang clothes on the provided clothes hangers.

A queen air mattress is provided for extra sleep arrangements.

Lavishing: The bathroom has a soaking tub with a well kept liner, shower curtain and curved shower rod for more space. We provide you with shampoo and soap to lather up. You will enjoy a soft white towel to dry off with. At the sink is a large mirror and we provide single use wipes for removing makeup after your night on the town.

Location: we are located in downtown Nashville and in city limits. FREE parking is for 1 vehicle in a nearby parking venue

Davina is Awesome

We didn't actually get the chance to stay at the property. The day before we were to head out to Nashville my husband had a terrible pain in his side. A trip to the ER and he had to have his gallbladder removed. I let Davina know and she worked with us and VRBO. She was very communicative and easy to work with. If we get the chance to go to Nashville we will definitely stay at her place!!

January Trip

Very nice, comfortable apartment in a great old building. Perfect location for everything downtown. Davina was very responsive and flexible as our flight was canceled and rescheduled twice. We highly recommend this apartment.

Great location for a weekend getaway

Came for the Titans game. This location is very walkable to the stadium and plenty of bars/restaurants. Parking was a little confusing. We had an issue with the parking app, but our host, Davinia, immediately contacted the garage management, and sorted it out for us. She was very responsive. The bed was bery comfy. I would stay here again.

Construction nightmare

For two days there was construction going on right outside our door which woke my wife and I up both mornings. Very loud construction and have video to prove it. No one let us know that this was going to be going on. Spent almost $2000 on the stay and she only gave us $50 because of the inconveniencebecause of the inconvenience back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is located within walking distance of Broadway and many places to eat as well as attractions to see. Davina made everything easy regarding checking in and the apartment is equipped with everything we needed for our stay in Nashville. We would recommend this place to a friend.

Very Walkable

The condo is accurately described. It's comfortable with large rooms, cozy bed, and needed supplies. It's walkable to Broadway, restaurants, the arena, & the Country Music Hall of Fame. Because we were traveling elsewhere prior to this, the check in process was a little frustrating as it required several steps through the VRBO app to get the codes and parking instruction and we didn't have the best WIFI on the road. Overall we had a very nice time. Thank you!

Fantastic Place to Stay/Super close to Broadway

Had a great time staying here. Davina was super helpful with any questions I had and was always happy to help out. The place was clean, cozy, safe, and easy to access for myself. 10 minute walk to Broadway. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Would definitely stay here again upon another trip to Nashville!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at this rental! The entire apartment was spotless, offering everything we would need during our stay and the location was awesome (10 minute walk to downtown)!! We will definitely book again the next time we’re in Nashville.

Short Nashville Trip

Nice spot, a couple blocks from Broadway and several coffee shops directly near the apartment. Free parking was a bonus. Definitely would stay here again.

Week in Nashville to listen to live music!!

It was a great place close to some things. A little of a walk to the night life. If you can’t walk far it is not the place to stay.

Why they chose this property

Polk 404 is perfect for your visit to Nashville. It's downtown but far enough away from the bars that you can come home to peace and quiet. We didn't skimp on the bed. We have been asked multiple times by guests what kind of bed it is so they can get their own. We tried to give the condo interior a bit of a historic flair. The condo building is affixed atop President Polk's old mansion grounds.
