It wasn't as secluded as the pictures portray, and the cabin definitely feels like it's lived in; as far as cleanliness goes. It snowed while we were there and the views were fantastic almost unreal. Overall, it was what we needed.
Ideal location for visiting Pikes Peak. Unfortunately, the mountain top was closed all week with the windy conditions, but we still enjoyed our stay, and found plenty of other things to do. Lots of room for our teens, their Grandma, and even our two dogs. Beds were comfy enough, more than enough spots to sit, nice shower, nice deck, fairly quiet area, with quick walking access to nature. I walked the dogs up to the Catamount Trailhead every morning.

Great Retro Cabin
The cabin was very retro but in a good way! It was well stocked and clean! Comfy beds and a good location. Great communication with the hosts and easy check in and check out. The online pics and video were pretty accurate except we were surprised at how close together the homes were in the neighborhood, behind the cabin, but it didn’t really bother us and it was quiet. The neighbors were friendly too! We would stay here again!
We especially liked the living room with the big windows and skylights. The fireplace is lovely and we enjoyed the warmth on the chilly autumn evenings. The host was very responsive, the home well stocked, beds are comfy, and the area is quiet.
We enjoyed our stay. The place was as advertised with plenty of beds, adequate kitchen and room for all of us to watch football in the family room. The stream in the back was lovely and it was a short walk to the Pantry and Blue Moose.
The property is in a very quiet neighborhood in Green Mountain Falls, walking distance to a couple of restaurants and the GMF park. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for 4 adults. I slept in the loft room, which is obviously meant for children, but it was very cozy and I enjoyed using that room.
Lovely place to stay. Ability to eat outside by the stream was a highlight for the grandchildren. Listening to the stream at night was enjoyed by all. The house was just as described: perfect for our group. Would definitely stay again.

We were shocked when we we entered this stunning cabin! It is the the nearest place & location! The only thing is, we felt it could have been a little cleaner. There were a lot of crumbs and dust left behind. Floor not kept real well. Besides that, the stream and surroundings are to die for!!!
Our family from N CO met up with cousins from OK at this property and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thoughtful amenities and all comforts of home made us feel like this was truly a family home and we felt incredibly welcome. The small, but very well equipped kitchen and the convenience of the ample sized grill allowed us to enjoy most of our meals at home. We loved to sit on the back deck to play games, talk, and enjoy the breeze. Sleeping with the windows open to listen to the creek was a treat! All linens were soft, clean, and comfortable.
Despite very high temperatures forecasted, the house stayed cool. The property management company brought over extra fans and we closed up the windows and drew shades during the day which allowed us to come back from the city to a comfortable house.
The location, being only 20 minutes from Colorado Springs, but far enough away to feel like we were in the mountains, was ideal. The community of Green Mountain Falls was quaint, quiet, and welcoming. We loved the gift/coffee shop and The Pantry.
This rustic mountain retreat was wonderful and I highly recommend it!
Great place right on the creek. The sound of the water put me to sleep every night! Huge deck and anything you might need in the house. Prop manager easily contacted if needed. Would def return thank you!
Upon arriving to the cabin, we were in awe. There is a fast moving, but small, creek directly in the back and to the side of the cabin. The tables and chairs made it really nice to sit out and enjoy the nature with many types of birds and even a family of 12 deer visited and just hung out. Inside the cabin, you're greeted with a hug open living room and outstanding rock fireplace. What I loved about the living space were the large windows, which provided a lot of sunlight and at night, the lighting ambience was perfect because you could dim the lights and have just the perfect amount of light to make it relaxing. There were 3 large bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with a king. Each bed was extremely comfortable! Also having 2 bathrooms was really nice. The office had a small couch, that could be made into a bed, but only for a child, definitely not an adult. There was also a loft with 2 twin beds. The kitchen and dining space had everything you could possibly need to cook and dine with. The only recommendation is new spices - quite a few were outdated. I loved having a washer and dryer to have access to as well. Though the cabin is not secluded in the middle of nowhere, it was definitely quiet and relaxing. Also, only a few miles into Woodland Park and not far from the Springs. You'll love this home for your rental...you won't regret booking it!
This cabin has plenty of space with separate living and dining areas. There are also two outdoor areas for dining and/or gathering. The fast-running stream on the property is a nice bonus. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We will definitely go back.
If you enjoy being away from the busyness of the city, this is the place for you. Well kept, quiet and cozy, with great surroundings! The creek sounds are tranquil. Our young teen children loved playing outside and exploring. Close enough to activities in Colorado Springs and manitou springs! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!
We loved the location of the home. Clean towels, clean sheets were great. Needed some cob web work however. The worst was the condition of the patio/deck. We know there had been some bad weather but the patio needed to be cleaned there were leaves and trash in the corners that had been there for awhile. Attention to detail needed. Thank you.
Overall, out stay was great! We enjoyed exploring local towns and relaxing in the cabin. The layout and features throughout the cabin provided a warm and cozy experience. Our only complaint is the cabin felt a little cluttered with the amount of stuff (presumably owner's) throughout the space. This was not a big deal and did not interfere with us enjoying our trip.
We wanted a quick stay in the mountains that was close to Denver so we could hike, cook, play games and watch bowl games with our adult son, his girlfriend and dog over New Year’s. The house was perfect- kitchen well equipped, TV very large with great wifi for streaming and fireplace so easy to use & put out more heat than expected! We loved walking to town for a breakfast at The Pantry & hiking on multiple local trails and in Garden of the Gods. Would highly recommend!
We stayed a well in this home and it was perfect for my family. We saw deer right in the front yard and the creek out back was so nice. Big patio and location was perfect. Right outside of Colorado Springs with tons to do in the area and not too close to the city. Hosts were very quick to reply with any questions we had. We definitely need to try this location during the summer as well. Thank you very much for a great stay!!!
