The house is quite clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds! We would have liked a hairdryer available. Also, many of the dishes and silverware were slightly dirty. Perhaps it would help if manager washed them rather than having guests wash them.
This was a great property to stay at. My husband, two adult children, and three littles fit comfortably. It is a few blocks from the Cuyuna trailhead, excellent biking, hiking, and swimming. One mile from Serpent Lake park, a super fun park that has it all- skate park, sandy beach, and fun playground. We had a blast. Will definately stay again!
Cute house in town near bike trails, perfect for weekend riding Cuyuna:)

About the host
Hosted by Theresa Backowski
My name is Theresa (Mayer) Backowski. I grew up in Crosby-Ironton and lived my whole childhood in this house. These walls are FULL of love and memories, change and challenges, laughter and tears. So much life has been lived here. So much WONDERFUL life.
Why they chose this property
Crosby-Ironton is a gem that people are beginning to finally notice. The mine pits and bike trails were vacant for so long. My brothers and I spent our summer days on trails, making our way through the woods to get to our favorite swimming spots, learning to fish for trout, or snorkeling and looking into the depths of the pits. Those years ago, even some locals stayed away from the pits because it seemed to be a bit wild and sometimes lawless out there. It was certainly not for the faint of heart in those days. Nevertheless, I am so proud and excited that life is being breathed back into them. And their beauty is being shared and sought out - ALL year long!
Enjoy the Cuyuna Country.......the lakes, parks, trails, shops, and the locals. We are so happy you are visiting!
