Cast Away: Game Room, Fireplace, Kayaks & Fire Pit

Summary:
This elegant lake house is located in the heart of Seneca Lake, and the Wine Trail. Cast Away is in close proximity to some of the best wineries and restaurants Geneva has to offer. Just minutes from Hobart William Smith Colleges, and a short drive to Watkins Glen State Park. Outside there are two decks with space for large groups to have dinner and lounge around. This property also offers a detached game room, a long beautiful dock into the lake with five kayaks, corn hole, and a fire pit!

The Space:
The house is adorn with new gray flooring giving a modern feel of lake life living. A grand staircase leads to three queen size bedrooms, and an oversized master king bedroom with a smart TV and master bathroom. All bedrooms offer blackout shades and charging stations for your convenience. Upstairs there is also another full bathroom.

On the main floor there are two Smart TV's, one in the living room and the other is in a private room that offers a trundle bed that can sleep two. There is also a half bath on the main floor. This house has a large kitchen space open to the living area keeping everyone together while cooking and gathering for meals. We also provide an Amazon Echo to use at your discretion. We have a separate dinning room that can seat up to ten people.

The property also has a separate cottage that is rented throughout the year. The cottage has a maximum occupancy of two guests. There they will have access to their own fire pit, grill and kayaks, but the dock and the game room are shared spaces between these homes.

This property even has a game room! Inside the detached garage you will find ping pong, PAC-MAN, air hockey, and foosball! This space is available 10:30am - 9:00pm and is shared with the cottage. The backyard has plenty of lawn and deck area if you wanted to picnic or cook on the grill (propane provided). Plenty of seating on the deck and around the fire pit below if you just take the stairs that lead you straight down to the fire pit and shared dock for a swim or take out a kayak.

Getting Around:
Turn towards the lake at the second White's Point road sign off of NYS Route 14, coming north it will be the second whites point and going south it will be after North Whites Point, head east towards the lake, cross the railroad tracks, then turn left. Our house is grey with black trim and is the 5th home on your right. The house that you see, straight ahead of you, when you pull in, is the main house. That is where you are staying.

Other Things to Note:
This property can be rented in conjunction with the cottage on the property (Cottage at Cast Away) to sleep up to 10 people in total, and then have the dock and game room only for your guests.

Boats cannot be docked at the property

Neighbors live here all year long, please be respectful of them. The town has an ordinance of quiet hours, between 10pm -7am, it is enforced.

The town ordinance, only allows 3 cars to be parked in the driveway and one on the grass across from the home.

Our Train/RR crossing: we love our trains & barely notice/hear them. They pass infrequently (~1-2/24 hours), are short (<2 min), & have no regular schedule. They are not required to blow their horn @ crossings, so please be careful to stop and look both ways whenever crossing the tracks!
