Nice place BUT Check in was 4 hours late and heat broken during snow
This is a nice place in a good location and the full resort access is very nice. HOWEVER, like other reviewers of properties overseen by the resort, the check-in process is MISERABLE. I did not receive any communication from the resort about it (only got the VRBO confirmation) and my 4 PM check in time became 7:50 PM. It was snowing heavily, and no other common areas were open because of the pandemic. When they originally told us it would be 6 PM, we were offered $75 in resort credit, but with no where to go (restaurants and lounges closed, all activities limited in numbers AND booked solid) we literally had to just hang in our cars!! Cleaners were backed up and SOOOO slow, so we weren't given access until 7:45 PM and when the access code was texted to us, it was wrong. A few frustrated phone calls later, we finally got in but the place was very slow to heat up. The next morning when everything was 58 degrees, we realized that the heat/ac units were not working at all.
Calls to maintenance were answered promptly however, and Devin at the front desk was very apologetic and did come through with compensation that was appropriate.
Sadly, the heat/ac units reset themselves overnight again on our second night, so the next morning was again very cold. We alerted staff upon check out. I suggest that it these units are troublesome, there should be some instructions posted so that maintenance can be called in a timely manner - before heat falls drastically low.
