This modern and stylish holiday apartment in Malaga city centre is set on one level with an additional upper rooftop terrace. The holiday apartment offers a large open-plan living and dining area with Smart TV, comfortable sofa, dining table and a modern open-plan kitchen with all accessories, bathroom, a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a second double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, shower and direct access to the charming terrace with outdoor dining table and a trendy outdoor lounge area.

A staircase on the main terrace leads you up to an upper rooftop terrace with 4 sun loungers and stunning views of Malaga.

cancelled one day before stay

first, please ignore all ratings despite the overall rating...I wasn't able to submit a review without rating...The stay was cancelled one day before it was supposed to start because of a water damage caused by rain. It has been raining for 3 weeks straight, so the timing of the cancellation was a bit unfortunate, but of course it is possible that the flat hold up for three weeks and then couldn't take it anymore...The host offered us a full refund and also an alternative flat. so far so good, the reason for the one star review is the fact that the offered alternative was an inferior apartment which was offered on VRBO for a way lower daily rate than the booked stay. I accepted the offer but of course asked for the difference in price to be refunded...and the host refused. Anyways, I asked for the full refund and got it without any complications, but the offer and whole attitude was quite infuriating.

Perfect stay in Malaga

Apartment Mercedes is the perfect place to stay in Malaga. We loved the convenience of the location, the views from both terraces, and the general ambiance of the apartment. The service was excellent also. If using the transport service, ask for Paco - he´s the best!

Magnificent view over the city

We had everything we needed in the apartment. In addition, we were close to everything that we needed – shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. I would recommend this apartment – and Solaga – to anyone wanting a holiday in Malaga. I would add that Galen was more than helpful when we arrived pointing out the various amenities, etc., within the immediate area. Thanks Galen! It was appreciated.

Great location!

Restaurants, museums and supermarkets nearby. The beach is only 15 mins walk away and the area feels very safe. The flat is very clean and comfortable with air-condition in all rooms. The host was very helpful and the view from the terrace is great(although I had to work a little on my fear of hights).

Good apartment in a fun location

Good apartment, well equipped and spacious with a lovely terrace that has super views over Plaza de La Merced and the city. Well located with key attractions very close by, and just a 15min walk to the beach. Note: there are building works in progress right next door currently with some noise and dust, but not really much inconvenience.

Gorgeous flat centrally located ! The terraces are spectacular and interior modern and comfortable. Lift is helpful. Nearby restaurants, grocery stores are a plus. Alex was super helpful and nice! Management team responds quickly to any questions/ issues. Recommend Mercedes highly😊

Great location and outside space

The apartment is absolutely lovely to look at and the outside space and facilities are superb. Not sure that the electric toilet, which kept making noises throughout the night, was a great addition to the facilities. As mentioned by another reviewer, the lift was rather old. We do however understand that this is part of the building and it's location.

Great spot

Perfectly located, spacious modern apartment with wonderful terrace

Big furnished terrace overlooking the old town, only few steps away from old town, many great restaurants and sights nearby. As well transfer was perfect, and to harbour only 15 min. to walk. We liked quite everything. The elevator to 7th floor probably needs to be replaced as soon as possible, was a little scary .

V tomto apartmánu jsme prožili s přáteli krásnou dovolenou. Apartmán je velmi prostorný, je perfektně vybavený, nechybí tam snad nic. Vše fungovalo na jedničku. V apartmánu byl i hudební reproduktor Sonos, což nás velmi mile překvapilo a denně jsme ho využívali. Perfektní jsou obě terasy, kde se dá také opalovat, pokud někdo nechce chodit na pláž. Posezení na spodní terase je kouzelné, snídaně tam jsou nezapomenutelné. Jednání ze strany majitele apartmánu bylo perfektní, okamžitě reagovali na každý dotaz na Whatsapp. Měli jsme menší problém s elektřinou a velmi ochotně a rychle ho řešili. Jediná menší výtka za nás je, že by mohly být nachystány alespoň 2 sady ručníků na každou ložnici, abychom si nemuseli ručníky prát nebo alespoň v apartmánu nechat prací prášek.

Not what it used to be!

The Terrace is wonderful and a relaxing place, The location - near to la Plaza de la Merced - is perfect and there are many restaurants in the immediate area. Solaga are an excellent Company with, in the main, people who care about their renters. Speaking personally, I would not look elsewhere for providers of rented apartments in Málaga. We last rented the apartment in 2017. It is understood that the apartment changed owners recently. Many of the photographs on the Website show the apartment 'as it was' before change of ownership. For example, the dining table is now very basic compared with the white table and leather chairs beforehand and the settee is not as in the photograph and it, too, is basic Some of the facilities provided will need attention soon. There were only two of us but if rented by four people, there would be problems in some areas particularly with cooking facilities and utensils.

What can I say?

What can I say? You need to stay in this apartment. It is simply amazing. Clean, modern, quiet and has an amazing view. We had reservations about being so close to the plaza due to noise but it was wonderfully quiet due to great double glazing, even in the front bedroom. The double terrace is absolutely huge and gets the sun all day long. We had lots of fun simply chilling and reading but also watching the people in the square below while drinking coffee from the Nespresso machine (pods available at Aldi for about 3 Euros for 12.). Great location and extremely comfortable. Solaga made check in very easy and were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. My wife and I have been to Malaga a few times and this was by far the best place we have stayed. We will be back. I highly recommend!
